Arent you the one who want Griezmann as well? Do you seriously think EV can continue playing a 4 man midfield while having Griezmann, Suarez, Messi and Dembele as options up front? We all know what will happen. Defensive stability will be sacrificed to fit the new high wage attacking players.
For the beginning, I don't think that Dembele will make it here, so one "problem" solved (48 post's quotes incoming because of this line, lol).
Other than that, Coutinho-Rakitic-Busquets-Someone plus Messi-Suarez/Griezmman attack will work.
We will keep 442's midfield and defensive balance, plus we will have Coutinho the master in midfield plus Griezmann to rotate Cou/Luis/Messi in every game.

Well of course it won't be a sudden change, but Busquets, Rakitic and Paulinho will be all 30 years old next season, we need to start thinking about replacing some of them and bringing 21 year old would rejuvenate the midfield. Also Arthur wouldn't be replacing Rakitic or Paulinho, most likely we'll see Denis and Gomes leaving this summer.
Iniesta is 34 and still a starter.
I don't see too much need to change 30 years olds.
Majority of them will play here until 32-33-34 age.
In the last few years, we already had 4 "attempts" of creating a new, young midfielder in:
Samper
Denis
Gomes
Alena
= the score is 0/4 for now, but we'll see what will happen with Alena
Samper and Alena were La Masia guys, had potential, knew the system, knew La liga and European football.
Yet, they didn't make it till now.
Denis is also a local guy and Gomes played in La Liga, and they didn't make it.
Then we have Arthur, with 1 good season in South America.
Zero European experience, zero La Liga experience, zero connections with Barca's system, plus he has some questionable physical skills.
I know, I know, Xavi was short and slow.
But he had insane IQ and technique, plus he came from La Masia.
So, he could have neutralized his weak physique with La Masia skills and IQ.
Also, about comments from previous pages how we want to loan him.
Well, of course.
Why are people surprised?
Arthur has zero European experience.
Guys like Alena and Samper struggle, so it is quite predictable that Arthur will have similar problems or even more problems than them.
On the other hand, if your midfield 4 will be: Coutinho-Busi-xx-Dembele, then for xx position we will have:
1. Rakitic
2. Paulinho
3. Gomes
4. Denis
5. Iniesta
6. Roberto
7. Alena
8. Arthur
9. Rafinha?
10. Samper?
11. Oriol?
People here think that we will sell Denis and Gomes. Fine.
Even then, we'll have:
1. Coutinho
2. Busquets
3. Dembele
4. xx:
xx is:
1. Rakitic
2. Paulinho
3. Iniesta
4. Roberto
5. Alena
6. Arthur
A young player like Alena or Arthur needs tons of playing time to develop.
Alena is playing at a Bteam.
Where will Arthur play?
Do you guys think that we will bench Paulinho, Rakitic and Iniesta so that young Arthur may develop?
That will never happen.
So guys, be prepared for years of loans for Arthur, Deulofeu's style.
Also, with Coutinho and Messi, we will be favorites NO1 in a CL. We will need to play with 100% in the next 2-3 years.
Do you think that coaches will pair Messi and Coutinho with proven guys like Rakitic&Paulinho or with a young guy like Arthur?
