Just as big of a crybaby as the likes of Tackle is when someone calls you out on your shit.

There are no Arthur haters. There are people here, like me, who think he is a great player that needs to be more creative. Facts back that up. The forum De Amigos just twist that into a narrative that people are hating on him in order to garner support because they can't stand on their own.

They keep talking about Valverde lovers and apologists too, even though those don't exist either.

Perhaps you're right, I just feel the criticism is misplaced and a bit over the top for Arthur. I'm sure you can see what I mean by that, he technically is our most creative midfielder this year and yet he's the only one really getting the stick in midfield for not being creative enough. I think he could personally do more attacking wise but I'd say he's done pretty well considering his primary role is more to do with the buildup and general quick recycling of the ball.

There are indeed 'two tribes' on this forum.

One tribe sees football as a game of very high complexity. A system where things must fall into place in order for the individual pieces to form a coherent whole. Only after a cohesion and an idea of play are formed, only then can individual players use their quality to heighten that system and perfect it. It is a holistic approach. It is how teams like Barcelona, Bayern, Liverpool from today are created. Behind all of those teams there is a vision of play, which shapes all the themes of that team.

And then you have the other tribe who thinks football is a simple game where 11 players must go on the field, be creative and play great football. And if it doesn't happen, the players suck. Which players suck? The ones they don't like obviously.

Those are in fact the 'tribes'. Arthur, Valverde, match talks, Champions League performances, these are only chapters from the same underlying theme.

Forum De Amigos is a group of users who have been here a while who think everyone here, especially new members, should agree with everything they say or be bullied and insulted into a) leaving the forum or b) becoming a follower of the forum de amigos members.

That's my version of it. This thread today proved this theory, and that's without the main protagonists of forum De Amigos even posting.

What Personal insults?

If what I and Serghei have said counts as insults in your mind, then man you really can't take people arguing about your points. Your posts on Arthur are about the same, you claim you want him to be better and point his flaws out but some of your criticisms come off as you splitting hairs and trying to make a meal out of it.

We all know Arthur has flaws, but he's playing under a coach who cannot develop players for shit. If What I've said really bothered you then just put me on ignore, and we can just move past this pointless arguing we have been doing in the past several pages.

Forum have less active users because it's mildly depressing to watch Barcelona play football and then have to read your arguments about how Valverde is such a good manager. I guess some guys thought it wasn't worth it.

Also, for how much some of you complain about the toxicity around here, you lot tend to be the most toxic users.
