What's bad is that there are people around here who actually think payers like Griezmann, Semedo, Arthur, starters for France (world champion), Brazil (south american champions), and Portugal (european champions), some of the best national teams out there, are crap players.That's what's funny.
-Semedo wasn't starter in the team that won Euro champions in 2016, unless you are talking about friendly replacement UEFA Nations League
-No one is seriously saying Griezmann is a bad player, but he is bad player for us, many here have seen it ,miles away before the deal. He occupies same space as Messi, he is close to his 30 and won't be Messi replacement nor a player you get your money back. He was a power move, a prove we are the team that can bring galactico signings.
-And NT aren't on same level of top clubs anymore, that isn't the 70's when we expected best team to be playing in WC, best teams now are playing in CL. Them being starter for NT doesn't mean they are good enough for Barca, at least if we are ambitious.
If he keeps playing the way he is, he won't have future here. He need to add some vertical ability to his game, whether it is passing, goal scoring or being strong on defensive end.

I really don't buy into the idea that Arthur is a victim of the system or the culture of subservience to the veterans.
Indeed it is the job of the coach to provide the framework and structure for the individuals to express their quality as readily as they can, but you still need that high quality.
My disappointment with Arthur is that he seems lost around the edge of the box. He seems to lack touch, guile and cunning. Right now our midfield lacks flair and looks pretty basic.
Someone like Deco would be an upgrade.

France plays somewhat defensive football and rely on physique and fast counters.
If Griezmann is good for them, it doesn't actually mean that EV or Setien are shit.
It could mean that Griezmann is just a horrible fit for our way of play when we rely on possession and play against parked buses.
About Arthur and Brasil, he plays as a double pivot there with Casemiro the destroyer near him.
Who will cover for him at Barca? Light thin Busquets?
Also, as explained the other day, in South America they play suicidal football and majority of players are on a verge of a red card in ever single tackle.
All players there play reckless and headless like Arturo Vidal.
In that type of football, your main goal when you get the ball is:
1. avoid a player running at you (press resistance)
2. pass the ball to someone and try to create a counter
At Barca, in 80% of matches= NO ONE is running at you because teams sit back and park the bus.
No wonder that Arthur played his best matches against Real and Tottenham.
Why?
Because those teams were attacking us and players were running at him when we had the ball.
When we play against Mickey Mouse La Liga teams, Arthur is useless. Even little Riki Puig is twice the player as him against parked buses.
And now, you are mentioning Griezmann from a counterattacking French NT and Arthur from a kung fu South American football as a proof that they are actually awesome and everyone at Barca are stupid because those misfits can't play in a possession based football against parked buses.
Seriously: 1 millions reasons how everything else is guilty except these clowns.

Yes exactly. This Arthur conversation never seems to go anywhere.
Personal believe: he has potential and talent but it's probably up to Arthur to find the last consistency and the effort to get those best qualities out more often.
But my stance have def. Changed a bit past two months. I see some red flags mental wise from him. He needs to grow up a bit and follow less Neymar(older 28+ Neymar) path.
