I just checked his transfermarkt value, it's currently sitting at 44m.

Down from 77m just a year ago. Staggering decline.

Trust me when I tell you that by the end of next season his value will be sub 20m.

One of greatest Brazilian con artists of all time and one of the worst midfielders I have ever seen.

This. guy is worse than declined Busi. Juventus scammed us with that swap

The fact that Pedri worked (something not even in the mind of Barto when buying him) saved our midfield this season.

Otherwise, there would be many here crying for Arthur

Good point. In a sense Pedri was Godsent to us. He was very crucial this season. Without him, I am not sure who the hell we would play?? Puig the whole season? Pjanic would have been total disaster.

Arhur-hate is trendy here, but like I said above, without Pedri you would all be crying for Arthur back

He has started 6 games in La Liga and has done well most of the times, that's hardly given a fair chance.

I would never cry for Arthur back. Juve also wants to offload him after one season and bring back Pjanić. Don't really need to say much more who they consider a better player. Just sad that Koeman had an agenda against him.

Pjanic played 1302 minutes (starting 13 games) this season
Arthur played 1541 minutes (starting 17 games) last season

Arthur mostly played well, Pjanic mostly played absolutely terrible.

I am not sure Juve wants him back first of all. Lots of rumour, no credible source.

But even if they want him back, it would be for the deep-lying position, where I REPEAT he was proven much worse than declined Busi this season.

Arthur any day over him.

He should've been played higher with FDJ and Pedri behind him who have fresher legs. That's how I'd try for at least a few games. Couldn't be worse than seeing Busi playing every game despite being s*** for years.

And I think he'd also do better than Busi as a DM in a 3-5-2 but was never given a chance in that system.

3-5-2/3-4-3 was the system that had Busi less exposed on transitions this season, and it was the system he had his best games this season.

Every new take you try is even more faulty

The only solution is for some club to buy Pjanic and Arthur and play them as double pivot.
