Today's world economy being how it's and all, Spain should consider selling some of them. ;]His perfomance for Spain U21 . Surely, Spain has got the best midfield talents...
He's more of a box to box midfielder than a Busquets type defensive midfielder in my opinion. I won't pretend to like his playing style, but he definitely has a bright future ahead of him. His playing style suits perfect Premier League and I won't be surprised if he goes to a team like Chelsea or Machester United. I hope he will stay with Sociedad for at least one more year, though!
Not really box to box, he plays sort of like a much more mobile version of Alonso. I like him a lot and hope he succeeds
Mmmm Don Andres did you not claim that I Martinez took Sociedad to fourth place single handedly?
And I had to point out to you how good the likes of Illaremendi was for them?
Apolgies if it wasnt you, think it may have been though!
Never on earth would I have pinned Sociedad's fourth place campaign on a single player. Carlos Martinez, Illaramendi, Vela, Griezmann, Inigo, and many more were all amazing players and brought them up to 4th place in a tremendous team effort. I applauded Inigo for his individual performances over the season but he didn't carry the team, no single one of them did.
