Reading through comments on Twitter/Facebook and other social sites, everyone wants Ronaldo or Xavi to win it. Seems like people are tired of Messi winning all the time and talking the same crap all over again ...he's nothing without Xaviniesta, he can't perform with his NT, he would be nothing in PL, .... I'm tired of all this bullshit.

Lately Leo is getting so much hate. Or is it just pure jealousy, because he's the best?

It doesn't make any sense what you're saying..what Xavi and Iniesta got to do with Cristiano? He has Xabi and Di Maria(last year was also Ozil who gave him something like 15 assists)..but football is a team sport.

People are saying that Messi can't play at his level without Xavi and Iniesta. So I said, if that's the case, then how come Ronaldo was still a beast while playing at United, who had a far inferior midfield. If Messi can't do it, why could Ronaldo? I don't believe Messi can't perform without Xaviesta, I was just poking a hole in their logic.

at PL..the best 4 players in the world, the best 2 GK are playing in La Liga, the best midfielders from PL(Wilshere apart)&LB are spanish..other players who could be considered the best in their position like Neuer, Gotze, Hummels, Bastien or Lahm are in Bundesliga and Spain or Germany is going to win the EC. But yeah..all hail the English Premier League.
And I actually like watching some games from EPL(Arsenal&Tottenham are pretty fun right now) but this Sky propaganda is really annoying .

You seem to be confusing CR performing to extremely high standards in a well-coached, well-organised Man Utd team with the best defence around (at the time), as well as other very good attacking players in Rooney and Tevez who worked for the team/CR with Messi playing for Argentina in a poorly-coach, poorly-organised team with a bunch of players who either are unwilling or incapable of working with/for Messi. To simply say that in the former instance CR played well in a team with a poor midfield (even though, really, they were just functional and doing a job as a part of a team) whereas Messi hasn't done it without Xavi/Iniesta is ridiculously short-sighted. A midfield is not a team.

So yeah, pretty absurd on the whole.
