I think both Gomez and RVP deserve spots on the shortlist. Both are only just being given the credit they deserve I think.

The only people who have scored more than Gomez over the past few years are Messi and CR7. That is pretty damn impressive. Dude is on a tear and still hasn't stopped.
RVP is the talisman for his team. But I can't say I watched him enough last year to say if he should be there for sure. But from what I have seen I think he deserves a spot over a few people on that list.

Yeah now I also think that Gomez and RVP should have been on the list. Scoring that many goals (Gomez) should count to something! What were Benzema's stats last season?

He's totally right.

Eusebio is one of the biggest regret of failed signings ever. He was literally bought by Inter in 1966 (he came even in Milano to sign the contract),but then Korea happened at that infamous WC in England and the italian federation decided to lock the frontiers for foreigner players ('till 1980)... shame,I can't even imagine what La Grande Inter could have achieved more with a 24 years old Eusebio at that time (other 2 european cup at least for sure)

fucking epic quote... garrincha was god.. to bad he was not educated his teams used to make him sign blank contracts bc he couldnt even read. when he retired he had no money and drank himself to death
