Really hope that the rumours about "Rakuten" weren't false, and that they'll become our new shirt-sponsor.

Also I'm curious who'll become our next sporting-director now, Braida I suppose?

don't get your hopes up. I think it's easier that he renames the stadium as Qatar nou, than getting Qatar off the shirt.

What I have realized now is that the socis of this club in general are stupid. All it took was a treble to make them forget about everything.

Classic case of someone being given credit for something he had little or nothing to do with. Well done, socis.

Yet had things gone wrong with the team he would have got all the blame.

What did Laporta do to deserve more respect for his team?

No, he wouldn't. The coach would have.

I never said anything about Laporta, so I don't understand what your question is aimed at. You're jumping to conclusions.

When he realises he & his friends can extract tens of millions of Euros more from the club for another 5 years. The Qatar thing annoys me, but the criminality they get away with pisses me off the most. We mock Perez but we have worse people in-charge.

Laporta just didn't do enough, he gained some ground late in this process but his vision for the club going forward wasn't very clear.

Older, conservative socis figured why bring drastic change while the club is winning everything in sight and bringing in profits.

I'm not that mad about it to be honest.

I know you didnt mention Laporta I did. So I will ask you....does Laporta deserve credit for the teams success under him?

Or do you give no President blame/credit for success on the field?
