Barca elections 2015

I know you didnt mention Laporta I did. So I will ask you....does Laporta deserve credit for the teams success under him?

Or do you give no President blame/credit for success on the field?

Yes, every president deserves some credit for what happens during his tenure. But not as much as the actual sporting section. And definitely not to the extent that it neutralizes the incredible amount of shit that happened during that same tenure in terms of administration. This election will make Barcelona a laughing stock around the world. All people will see is that the club elected the same guys who are responsible for all of the scandals that have happened during the past few years, including the transfer ban, the Neymar case, etc. These are not minor issues, these are news headlines.

It's funny how people on internet and thousands miles away from Barca (me included) like to hold moral and intelectual high ground and talk down to socis from Barcelona. People who supported the club through thick and thin and before most of us were born.

Sorry, but the fact that some of them live in Barcelona and that some of them supported the club in tougher times does not by any means suggest that they are better informed or more capable to make the right decision at this point. I would bet anything that most of us here (on the forum, for example) follow Barca more closely than many socis do nowadays.

The Socios would be blind to not know the main issues and where each candidate stood on them.

This is nothing to do with 'stupid, ill informed socios' that is just arrogance beyond belief.

Absolutely no chance that type of slur gets thrown at socios when they vote they way people want them to.

Suddenly, I'm not happy about the treble since it's the only reason why Bartomeu win this election....

Am I the only person in here who thinks so?

I'm having a really hard time understanding your post. You seem to be replying to something that I haven't written or read. As usual.

Laporta had quite a shit campaign too. Unicef, Pogba, and Abidal aren't enough. He was only focused on those 3 things. I'm not sure what the hell he was thinking.

Am I the only one hee who has this thought?

Thats pathetic really.

Just smacks of people wanting their own way above club success on the pitch.

The treble is historic thing for the club ffs.

Probably overestimated himself. Not exactly a shocker with those types.

Barto had the elections won the minute Barca won the treble.. I don't think people should really be surprised.

Way ahead of you, I was thinking exactly that before the finals. I underestimated the short-term memory of the members though.
