When he realises he & his friends can extract tens of millions of Euros more from the club for another 5 years. The Qatar thing annoys me, but the criminality they get away with pisses me off the most.

Based on?

When has that ever happened that Barto and friends have made 'tens of millions' out of Barca?

Barca being investigated for anything going at moment and this has not been so much as hinted at yet people are state it like fact.

With Bartomeu and Enrique at the helmet Barca will continue to win trophies. That's apparently what the socis believe. And even though I don't like Bartomeu, I too think that we'll enter a period of Barca dominance. Maybe it'll come at the expense of La Masia, values etc, but we'll win boatload of trophies. The voters have spoken - it's ALL about the trophies.

Probably would have won regardless, but using Ranked Choice Voting (a.k.a. "Instant Runoff") would be a more democratic option than a first-past-the-post system in an election like this.

Only 40% of Socis even voted...

Absolutely ridiculous
That's similar to all previous elections. I think only in 2003 (when things went really bad) there were more people who came to vote.

In the 2010-election there were slightly more voters than today I think, but back then there were a lot more socis, so the relative result is comparable.

With Barto we are not likely to sign Pogba. So we got that going for us, which is nice.
With Bartomeu we have just as much chance to sign Pogba as with Laporta. When Bartomeu offers Pogba that 12M-net-salary, I'm sure Raiola will become "very good friends" with Bartomeu too.

It's funny how people on internet and thousands miles away from Barca (me included) like to hold moral and intelectual high ground and talk down to socis from Barcelona. People who supported the club through thick and thin and before most of us were born.

But hey, all those socis just blindlessly believe what EMD/Sport write and have no access to the social media whatsoever, can't blame them!

Sport have just published the numbers from previous elections:

http://www.sport-english.com/en/new...were-won-nunez-gaspart-laporta-rosell-4367679

In 2010 the turnout was 48% , in 2006 Laporta ran unopposed, 2003 was 55% and 2000 was 49%.
