Another thing. One the ball is in one area of the field, the entire team almost would gravitate there, not by much, but by enough to really change the spaces between each player, which means we no longer plan to isolate our players into 1vs1 duels, but, on the contrary, we try to make it close spaces football, knowing very well we have players who are absolutely world class at playing this sort of game.

Combinations vs isolating players in 1 vs 1 duels and letting them to decide plays on their own. System vs sum of individualities.

Great half and very promising. The usual suspects will point to the opposition to try and downplay it but our players are performing marvelously (Except Suarez lol) and everything, from our pressing, to passing speed, to transition to attack, are all much improved from what we were seeing under Lucho.

These are great signs. Hopefully we get to see some backups (Semedo, Alena, Samper, etc.) get some minutes in the second half.
