Is it just me or does Valverde seem to have a lot less emphasis on attacking full-backs than we've come accustomed to? Not that it's necessarily a bad thing, but judging by our preseason so far, it seems to hold true.
If that's the case, then I wonder why we opted for Semedo and not a more conservative defending RB.
Am I reading too much into this?
His teams def get ball quicker to front three do who then go for throat quicker than Peps side as well.
Less time for fullbacks to get forward. Seem to tuck in a bit and let Busi, Raki and Iniesta press as much as bombing on wide.
