The first game I've actually been impressed with Abel Ruiz.

Didn't have a good season with the B team last season and didn't look all that good during the Copa games and Preseason a year ago, but he looks all right this game.

Man has an absolute cracking shot, however before that I saw him kill off 3 or 4 attacks by passing badly or not looking.

Weird watching barca for me , seems no rhyme or reason to how they play, simple tactics like gegen pressing , pass and move or even just pressing are foreign concepts it seems. Ill endure to watch my man Frenkie.

Wonder if its just tactics or just they miss the hunger for success (like the young kids at ajax have) either way the football is really static.

Yeah don't expect it to get any better this season considering this is Valverde we are talking about.

He has a decent shooting range but he's too much of a liability. He's too clumsy under pressure and too slow in general.

Better half from Junior, his main issue for me is he needs to not act so casual when defending.

Over the last 4 or 5 years we have deteriorated into this slow, lethargic, immobile and chaotic "system" and Valverde's lack of tactics and a clear plan made it more so.
