is this the main reason nike kits cost more than the previous season? all nike kits, not just barca

Reading that Adidas have filed a complaint to USPTO against Nike for making our strip have vertical stripes similar to the pattern they use and confusing their customers. Seems far too vague, they can't just just claim such a vague pattern that's commonly used in all sorts of things is theirs, will surely get laughed at but knowing our luck recently who knows.
