Actually, Munir IS a CF. He played as a winger for Juvenil A while Sanabria was here but all that dominance with Adama that earned him his fast-track to the first team was done primarily from the center. This "Not a CF" thing started because Lucho most often needed a sub there. His best performances last season were from CF, too. It's no coincidence that he scored against some teams you wouldn't expect him to while playing as our lone striker. I always thought one of the main reasons he's struggled has been he is not a winger. It's clear he doesn't have the capacity to beat his man on the dribble or make a cross, he wants to be the one to run into the box and make something happen. His tap ins and brief moments of brilliance in the box are no accident. I'm actually of the opinion that if we stop pretending he's "Not exactly a CF" and let him play as a CF, where he belongs, he'd do much better for us.

What are you talking about? Munir is terrible as a CF. He has missed so many easy tap ins against inferior teams and missed a sitter at Bernabéu when he was inside the box.

Here is a video as example how he is not only missed an easy tap-in but actually was a defender for Granada clearing 100% goal for us.

That doesn't prove a god damn thing. Suarez missed an open net at the Bernebeu, does that mean he's better as a winger, too?

Munir is a striker. His level of quality isn't relevant to that discussion.

that's a bad comparison, Suarez scored 3 goals in the last 4 clasicos and score shitload of goals vs. other small and big teams.

"His level of quality isn't relevant to that discussion". You are the one saying he is good as striker and I'm pointing that he isn't, how this is irrelevant?! Pique scored 12 goals in the past 2 seasons, while your striker/winger scored 9 only. I would rather have Pique as makeshift striker like someone suggested here earlier than depend on Munir to be Suarez's back up.

He could be 40 who cares. He can still do the business. That's all that matters.

I know.
But some people say that VPersie or Mandzukic are not good enough to be the 4th option here anymore.
But suddenly a probably 40-years old Eto'o is good enough.

Eto'o is one my favorite Barca's player ever.
But more or less, he is without a serious top flight football since Anzhi and 2011 (except a season at Chelsea).

I would personally rather have an older, experienced benchwarmer Cf who played tons of goals in his career, who is willing to be a sub here.
But who also clearly has less than 38-40 years.

With those extremely old players (Etoo), you never know.
They can always get a horrible injury (more easily than younger players), their healing takes much longer and their stamina or key skills can for unknown reason deteriorate in a few weeks.

You haven't watched him enough. Anywhere he played after Inter, he's shown that he still has it.
