Robert said many strikers refused to sign for Barça because of MSN. A player like dybala is impossible now. Vietto didn't want to come for fear of that too. It's not being easy to find one.

signing doesnt equal strenghtening in my opinion . we have enough resources with munir and all those midfielders

I get that it's a hard sell with MSN being virtually unbenchable. I'm just saying that is not like the 4th striker will rot on the bench. Particularly if they are good enough to make in impact, they'd get enough minutes to at least have a decent contribution to the team and for them to gain enough match experience to grow. Yeah, you don't start every match but you have the chance to learn from the absolute best.
I'm just saying, Munir, D. Suarez and Rafinha as forward subs aren't going to have the same impact as even a Vietto.
Bottom line and the main point I'm arguing is that for too long, this club let's an important part of this squad go and takes far too long to fill the void instead of being proactive and finding these players before a vital cog leaves. Puyol, Abidal, Xavi, Pedro and now probably Dani, when these players left it took too long to find at least players of similar characteristics (not saying out and out replacements, I know it's fucking hard to replace players like those).
I'd just rather us stay ahead of our current squad, to be always thinking a year or two in advance instead of always trying to play catch up. We've done a lot better this summer in this regard but the 4th striker is still a legitimate weakness in our squad. Off the bench, we have plenty of options for controlling games when we have a lead and some like for like changes now (something we didn't even really have last season) but we still lack someone who can make an offensive impact off the bench.
I'm just not convinced enough from Munir, I'm skeptical if he can come to be as prolific as he was as a youth player and right now, he's the purest sub we have for Suarez right now. It's just not good enough for the biggest occasions and unless he finds some consistency this year, I just don't think he will inspire enough confidence that Lucho will be able to trust him in big games. He's young still but for me, it's a male or break season for him.
Makes you really admire the type of player Henrik Larsson was for us.

Time is not our ally. Every single day without fichado is lost day and closer to some Brazilian/Argentinian or whatever South American weakling player signing. We should have sign Ben Yedder and now we should look into Ligue 1 for some else MSN substitute.
