MD Says we are pushing for Bellerin. :p

Says we are also looking at OGC Nice's Jean Michaël Seri, who plays as a CM/DM.

Funny how every midfielder we "hunt" according to the press is labelled "the African Xavi", "the next Xavi", "the Xavi of PSG".

According to Francesc Aguilar, we are following Malaga, Midfielder Pablo Fornals and Valencia's Carlos Soler. Robert likes Carlos Soler a lot and we tried to sign him once but he didn't want to leave Valencia.

If I was Robert I would go for:
Mario Gaspar
Elseid Hysaj
Ricardo Pereira
Djibril Sidibé

There is no Alves on the market so you need to make a compromise and 40+M. semi-injured Bellerin is no compromise. If you want the safest option, go for Gaspar. Btw why has this guy a contract till 2023? Since when contracts over 5 years are signed? I don't know how much he would cost, but definitely not 40+M.

The most "fancy" option would be Pereira, but he wouldn't be my first option as his strengths and weaknesses are very similar to Vidal's.

Out of this names the Albanian RB of Napoli would be my #1. He is a well balanced RB who can contribute both offensively and defensively, a great athlete and technically better than Bellerin.

As I mentioned before, it is a pity that Florenzi has a serious injury. He would have been perfect for Barça.

He scored a nice Goal yesterday against Sevilla.

Barca wins the treble in 2009.
> RM responds, buying CR, Kaka, Alonso, Benzema
>RM continues to re-build through the Pep era, buying Ozil and DiMaria and never being content with being second best
>Barca grows complacent and hardly makes decisive signings in this period.
Real catches up with Barca and wins the 2014 CL
>Barca reacts with Rakitic and Suarez
Barca wins the 2015 treble
>Barca board over the moon, more complacent than ever: Arda, gomez etc
Real reacts again, deepening the squad and thinking both short-and long-term
>Real about to repeat the CL and take the league, during Messi's peak fucking years
>fuck off barto

Our board is so mediocre and unambitious. if we didnt happen to have created and attracted the likes of once-in-a-lifetime talents that are Messi, Xavi, and Iniesta, we would have achieved nothing. and the transfer officials have the gall to say that this summer we won't really be active.

i hate real madrid but what i admire about them is that they just never give up: not the players, not the management.

we won't give up either...in fact barca/madrid rivalry is the biggest in all of sports for this very reason. you can expect the players and the board (however stupid they are) to respond to madrid's current success.

Winning CLs is not really about buy me this or that player. They've had unreal amount of luck and are having a helping hand now.
But I do agree that they invested in some good and young players and that Barca success made them adapt and grow smarter and conversly, we were intoxicated with Pep and are with Messi and lost some edge.

New coach next season should bring new ideas and instill new motivation. That's the key part for me. Not player X or Y.
