There are always a lot of rumours but I think from all players mentioned above only Coutinho and Bellerin are realistic target outside of Deulofeu who I think we already decided to bring back. We won't get Verratti so it's better not to waste our time with him and start to look for alternatives.
There might also be some truth in Theo Hernandez rumours and I wouldn't really mind getting him for 24M but we have other priorities. People mentioned that he could be used as LCB in 3-man back but I don't think we'll keep that formation and I haven't really seen him play as CB to know if he can be reliable in that role even as 4th CB (we are also linked to hundred other CBs so that's another reason why I don't think we want him in that role). Still, he'd be an improvement over Digne (especially offensively) but we'd have to get a good offer for Digne to sell him which I don't believe so I'd stay with what we have at LB and spent money on CM and RB.
I don't want Bellerin anywhere close to Barça so I'll only comment on Coutinho rumours. I like him as a player but I just don't think he's what we need as CM if we'll continue to play 4-3-3. I don't believe he'd work in that role and there is no room for him otherwise in that formation because Neymar and Messi are already playing at his strongest positions (LW/AMC - well, Messi is still RW on the paper but we all know where and how he plays most games). Only way I'd go for Coutinho is if we are planning to fully change formation to 4-2-3-1 (which will probably happen if Valverde will be next coach) and he'd play as RW but he could also possible interchange positions with Messi (maybe even Neymar) during the games. Based on that MD article posted above Robert also sees him more as 4th attacker than CM so I hope that's true and if our next coach will stick to 4-3-3 we'll go for a different type of midfielder.
But then again, if we'll play 4-2-3-1 I'd rather have Bernardo Silva (his price will probably be similar to Coutinho's and I expect it to be in Suarez price range) who's more used to play as RM/RW than Coutinho (he plays there in Brazil NT but in Liverpool he's better as LW/CAM) and who I think would have better chances to also adapt playing as CM in current Iniesta role if we go back to 4-3-3 in future or if we keep that formation as our alternative for some games.
Busquets (Gomes/Samper?) - Roberto (Iniesta/Rakitić)
B.Silva (D. Suarez) - Messi (Rafinha?) - Neymar (Deulofeu?)
Suarez (Paco?/Munir?)
My guess is something like this could potentially work if we can also get a good RB. B.Silva would bring creativity to get some pressure off Messi while also help in defense (more than Messi does when he plays as a winger anyway) but I'd still prefer a reliable defensive RB with good attacking skills over great attacking RB with no clue how to defend; we have Vidal as more attacking oriented RB option if we need that. At least I hope we'll keep him unless we get a too good offer for him to turn down but that's unlikely after his injury.
Right now I have Roberto as "DM" (in reality more in a box to box midfielder role) alongside Busi because he's our fastest and most mobile CM but there could be rotations there based on opponent. At home against teams that sit back more we could use Iniesta to get more creativity but in away games I'd start Roberto. In other games I'd use Iniesta in Xavi role as a "closer". Hopefully he'll accept this new role. I'm really sad to say this but I don't think he should be unquestionable starter as he physically can't play full 90 minutes in 2 or 3 consecutive games anymore but I'd be more than happy if he proves me wrong next season.
I think Denis and Rafinha would be more useful in more advanced positions in this system. Sadly, I don't really see a place for Alena in this system. If Barça B is promoted I'd keep him there and let him train with first team and play in Copa or easier home league games. If they won't get promoted then loan is probably the best option because he won't play much here and he shouldn't stay in Segunda B for another season. We already made that mistake with Samper and we shouldn't do it again.
That list is so unimpressive and unrealistic. Why are we not considering Monaco's players at all?
Because all top clubs will go after them and their prices will be up the roof after the season they have.
