I'm still being optimistic. Last year pretty much all of our signings came out of the blue. I expect that to happen again this year.

Amen to that. I have the same feeling. So frustrated especially when real keep spending money on young promise players.

Oh,the old non-sense fetish for finishing signings in May.
Last summer everyone cried out loud when Bayern signed Hummerls and Renato early and they are 1 less trophy than last season.
City has paid double what we did,signed Gundogan,young players some people here were desperate to see and yet they are worse than last season.
You we linked to way more players than those clubs,you are just taking the best parts of their rumors and the worst for us as facts.
I mean let's look it this way,Many you rumored they won't allow De Gea to leave,same for Milan and Chelsea for Cortouis and Donnaroma,James is unhappy and he seem set to join Manu,Moratta is unhappy and will leave and Zidane is obsessed with Benzema so unlikely they will get upgrade over him. Pepe is set to leave too.
They seem doomed to worse season next year.
Bara? We are going to sign Bellerin,Verratti & Coutinho. Along Davinson and Deuloefue. we look in much better shape next year.

Not been many good parts. Not desperate to finish signings in May, but it doesn't matter if we're going after the wrong targets again. More than anything else, I find all of them incompetent which is the reason for my lack of trust. Will give Robert the benefit of doubt, but if it's the board trying to sign Bellerin then there's little he can do. Mestre already hinted towards it months ago.
Man City's signings sucked since they spent 50m pounds on John Stones and didn't improve their FBs. We didn't do particularly better either considering we never signed a RB and Gomes didn't turn out as expected.
Gabriel Jesus would have been good signing for us, but he wanted to play for Pep instead.

Point is,focus or criticize the board as much as you can but the whole "look at what those clubs are doing" is an absolute bs. Every other club out there missed on plenty of great players and done a lot of bs signings too. we are actually doing better than the most.
There is plenty of money in the market and plenty of other attractive destinations for players, our fans have that illusion that if we come calling players will just join us and it has proven to be not true by any mean. Players care about their career more than anything else.
We are linked with every type of signings the good and the bad ones too. I highly doubt the board will over rule Roberto, hasn't happened under Barto and Bellerin isn't the kind of player to do it anyway.

Real Madrid already has a better team than us and with their additions and possible loan recalls they will get even better ON ALL THREE LINES.

I am talking about judging based on what media said. RM won't keep same squad and sign De Gea as Donak is implying,neither we are going to get Verratti,Coutinho&Bellerin all together and good possibility we get non
And no,I don't think RM will get much better as you think,additions are always a risk and they are gonna let go some players. Morratta,Pepe,James will be tough to replace on their bench and their BBC is also old or injury prone now,same for Modric.
Our judgment is not based on what the media says. We all known that's 99% bullshit.
The pesimistic opnion is based on what have been the strategic decisions regarding transfers under Robert. Except from 2 super stars signing, which are basically a no risk call, every decision was wrong.
Under this board you cannot be optimistic based on past experiences. Really it is a simple matter.

Donak was pointing out to something else, I said clearly if you want to judge the board you have every right to,but this isn't the case in past few weeks
There is a rage in this board after every RM win,sometimes after other clubs signing players

Lots of media outlets,highly doubt he will stay if he isn't a starter. There is many top clubs who would gladly take him as a starter. Obviously they could pursue him to stay. Nothing is 100% sure yet

Are all way better than us in the transfer market and that's all due to the ineptness of the people running our club, who seem to be operating on the basis that we can't sign anyone that's too good, because we don't won't to upset the players at the club, instead of having everyone fight for there place.
The only team we are doing better than in the market is man UTD, and to a lesser extent city, who are just two fb's away from implementing what pepl really what's to do, besides that, they have been building around a core group of young promising players.
You have some fans who think we are going well in the market trying to make paco sound like a good signing at this point.
