its so depressing right now looking at our rumoured targets.. especially considering Madrid will probably sign Mbappe in a season or two. they plan for the future while we rested on our laurels and now we have to make do with this shit.

I don't care for them. I care for Barca and it saddens me how the board has brought our team to ruins. I will not be optimistic on us signing average players like Seri, Bellerin and blindly hoping that they will match up against Kroos, Carvajal, Thiago etc

It feels like none of the players likes the board either and what they have done with the team.
Especially Messi seems to be angry with the board and demands severe improvments, he cant carry the team alone year after year.
A bit worried his contract extension will depend alot on which players we sign this year.

The players might regret winning that treble 2015, Bartomeu probably would have lost the election.

It would be better for Barca if Messi is a demanding person, but I doubt he is.

and he's correct. our fucking President is a perico, FML
i dont know how messi can be expected to carry this team without necessary help and remain ambitious season after season.

i dont know, its been going on for quite some years now. remember the rumor with villanova begging messi to stay.
the players probably talk alot among eachother and especially Messi-Pique-Iniesta and they in hand probably speak alot to Xavi, Puyol etc.
they all know Messi has the most power of the players. Even Messi has his limits i guess.
theres been several rumors about Messi "demanding" players. Silva, Coutinho, Verratti etc.

one can only hope that is the case.
Laporta, even though his shady person, he cared alot about the team and the players and interacted alot with them. Bartomeu seems to just sit on his lazy ass smiling to businessmen on camera.

If this Real double won't be a wake up call for our board we'll return to pre-Ronaldinho era. This year transfer window is crucial for our future. If we end up buying average players like in last two transfer windows Real will dominate for years and this board will be remembered as maybe the worst one in history of FCB. In last 4 years Real won 3 CL and all of that is happening in Messi era!!! :facepalm:

Does anyone know when the team is going to return to training? I have heard that some teams are going to start preparing very early about the first week of July.
