Barca Transfers and Rumors

Let me ask you; do you have any evidence of Traffic being involved in the Douglas-transfer (and being the main reason why Barcelona brought him to the club)? And why do I need to 'get evidence' while you could just go on ahead with your conspiracy-theories and don't have to prove your point. So where's your evidence?

Both Douglas, Henrique and Keirrison were signed through Traffic. And the Traffic president, a leading suspect in the FIFA scandal, has pleaded guilty to money laundering, racketeering and corruption. Do I have solid proof we were involved? No, but these deals reek badly.

Ney and Messi can obviously get lengthy injuries and we really lack someone who can score goals. Thats the huge advantage of buying someone who can play all 3 positions up front. When someone like Suarez is out, we need someone in that position who is match fit. The only way that is happening is if that player has already played numerous games in other positions. Thats why Gabriel Jesus would have been great for us.
In theory. I'll reserve judgment until some more time passes, on Jesus. The point here is luan is not that player. There's no need to bring someone who can't score goals. Denis and Arda can provide cover. For lengthy injuries, there's no good enough solution. But when one of MSN is missing, there's 2 to compensate, like last season.

Douglas was owned by traffic.

I don't think you understand what I was trying to point out. Of course Traffic was involved in these transfers, but was the involvement of Traffic the main reason why Douglas was brought to Barcelona?

Dybala now. lel. And Buffon. Braida is likely an undercover juve agent. Hype their players, bring no one.

What other reason could have been? He has shown he wasn't brought for footballing reasons. Rosell have many contacts in Brazil, and he's very close to Bartomeu.

Well, there could be another reason. The reason I just gave! They came to scout Caio, were impressed with Douglas en brought him to the club instead of Caio. Why would you bring a player just because he's owned by Traffic? I agree there's some shady business going on in Brazil, but I can't image buying a player just because he's owned by a certain company.

Douglas signing was nothing to do with money laundering.

At a time were every little thing about Barcas conduct is being targeted by Spanish govt etc there has not been one mention of it.

For it to be anything like that then Zubi, Puyol and Lucho are either complicit or naive.

There is just not enough money involved for their to be financial gain for the number who would be involved.

Personally I think it was a punt on a player they had slightly decent reports on and could use it evidence of Ney snr scouting.

It will be Gabigol or Luan. I am sure we are waiting because of Olympics. I would rather have Gabigol but we'll see when they make announcement.

DonAK

President of FC Barcelona
Robert said that the forward will be here and ready(?) before the league starts.

And if Brazil makes it to the final, it won't happen.

That's not what happened. According to zubizarreta himself, they scouted douglas for 2 years. They would bring a player owned by traffic because someone made money there, or they owned someone from traffic a favor. Same already happened with henrique and keirrison. It wasn't a signing based on football, or because of one game. No one signs players based on one game.

I think Zubio (or someone else in the board, not entirely sure) said two conflicting things
1-As you said,we scouted Douglas for two years
2-We were scouting Caio and impressed with Douglas too.
tbf I think we were after Caio who is the better player but after his injury we did traffic a favor and replaced it with Doiglas deal.
Remember,b4 Douglas the media was heavily linking us to Caio as a CB prospect for B team

That makes sense, and it's even worse. Lies and schemes. And they gave up on Asensio for that... :zubi:
