Barca Transfers and Rumors

Eh....Of the two, I'd go for Alcacer any time.

Munir on loan to a good team where he'll be the CF for a couple of years. If he realizes his potential and starts developing at a faster rate by playing regularly then he'll be back and we'll be in a fantastic position with Suarez, Alcacer and Munir as our CFs.

Not to forget guys like Rafa Mujica are impressing a lot, with Lucho being one of his biggest fans.

Although I guess a short-term solution like Mario Gomez wouldn't be bad either, but among Paco or Luan, I'll definitely go for Paco.

Luan isn't even a CF. More of winger. And for close to 30m too. If you're just gonna sign a winger and someone who doesn't even fit your initial profile, then why not spend 10m more for Carrasco whose buyout is reportedly 40m.

If Bravo will leave for 40M clause, I'm fine with it. If less, it would be a big mistake. Alves as a 2nd GK will be fine. When I think Reina I see mistakes but good atmosphere in locker room.

Luan isnt a winger. He plays as a forward. Mostly in the middle.

Manchester City have an agreement with Barça for Bravo for 17m, but the deal has been put on hold due to a knee injury to ter Stegen. [sky]

WTF? Only 17M? Are you kidding me?

That fee will make Bravo the 4th most expensive GK in history.

Behind De Gea, Neuer and Buffon. And those three moved in their early-mid 20s.

Yeah but you have to take into consideration the fact that the market prices have exploded the past years.

20M for a relatively "old" keeper is a lot, I agree. But why should we even negotiate? City desperately need a new keeper and they have tons of money.

We should demand the full 40M buyout or tell them to look elsewhere.

Jan Oblak signed for Atletico for 16m euros just a couple of years ago.

De Gea almost moved to Madrid for 35m euros. BUT still behind Buffon's record fee.

The market prices have exploded, but the prices for the goalkeepers are still relatively reasonable. The biggest thing going against us getting a higher fee for Bravo is his age. No team will pay 25m+ for a 33 year old GK.

Pretty sure the club and Lucho want to keep both. Can only assume Lucho told each of them what their role for the season will be, and that Bravo thought it was time to move on IF there's substance to all these rumors.

Oblak was noone, Bravo is World class.
17 mil. is nothing for City in this market
