Seemed prerty good in preseason. You get that feeling he would be great in a similair system. By your logic Sergi Roberto would have been shipped out in 2014. Guys like Samper and Alena should be in our team right now imo.

I really hope that this horror with Di Malaria is only a cover up for either Coutinho or Arthur, because more and more sites are reporting that we are negotiating. Signing Di Malaria is just wrong on so many fronts...

-Has played for Real Madrid
-Is 29
-Has been off form for ages
-Is selfish
-With this transfer we help P$G avoiding sanctions
-Has shushed Camp Nou earlier this year

...and so on.

Well Ozil would be great tbh ...he's been in the form of his life the last 4 or 5 games after everyone's been questioning his heart and work rate WHILST Alexis Sanchez has been off form and has supposedly turned into a selfish , lazy , petulant teenager over the same period .... he's the guy who everyone loves and who's seen as a 100% guy ....
It's a funny old world :)

Ozil has not been that great recently. Certainly nowhere near the form of his life.

Paulinho has been one of our top 5 or 6 performers this season. Before coming to Barca, he has also shown that he is more than capable playing in teams with great players (Brazilian national team), so despite most of us being very skeptical about his transfer, he has luckily proven us wrong with humility and hard work.

Di Maria on the other hand has been mostly shit for the last few years with an occasional great game. He also doesn't seem to me as a guy who would put his head down, work hard and try to do the best to turn his career around. I'd rather keep Andre Gomes than buy Di Maria.

Again for Paulinho to be one of our best this season just shows how poor the squad / team quality is ...we've somehow managed to overachieve all season long ...so far ..
