My mistake.Sorry. I thought you were referring to Sergio Araujo from AEK Athens. You are talking about Ronald Federico Araujo da Silva, who is a central defender. Of course he will be promoted to the first team regardless what w'll happen with Umtiti and Todibo. I would actually like to see him and Todibo playing together as a central defenders.

1. because it's very short-sighted when we should think more longterm.
2. because we don't need and can't afford another one let alone two 100m+ forwards on high wages. One of them being old and injury prone and other one who would be played out of position to accomodate Suarez into lineup. Bringing back Neymar would set us back another 4-5 years in our rebuild we should do ASAP. And Lautaro would be unnecessary signing as well as long as we have Suarez here who must play every game. We won't compete for any major titles until the old core is gone anyway so I'd prefer to just save money or bring younger and cheaper players who can already help us now and more importantly around which we can build a team that will be competitive in post-Messi era. We should start to get rid of amigos instead of bringing more of them and further increase power of the players inside the locker room/club.
2. we need a strong midfielder but Kante is too old. We should look for someone younger. Camavinga would be my prefered choice but it won't happen so we should look for alternatives.
3. We would lose all defensive depth by selling the likes of Semedo (and I'm not a fan of him) and Umtiti (I'm in favour of selling him but we should actually replace him) and not replacing them with anyone. Emerson can't come back before 2021 (and if we'd bought both Lautaro and Neymar we wouldn't have a non-EU spot for him) and I wouldn't trust Todibo and Araujo as our 3rd and 4th CB choices. We need a more proven CB on a top level who can start immediately.

You are right about Kante. Too old. Yes, we should look for someone younger but not like your preffered 17 y.o. Camavinga. We need more established and physically fit midfielder like Bouba Soumare.
I don't know why you are still mentioning the name of Neymar. PSG is going to offer him new and improved 5 years contract as soon as this corona story is over.
I agree that we don't need to pay that much money for Lautaro. There is other cheaper options which we should explore. Erasing the names of Neymar and Martinez from our wish list will allow us to sign several other proven players.
Till Setien is the coach, Pique, Busqets, Alba, Vidal, Messi and Suarez will be in the starting line-up. But, if we can get Dayot Upamecano to play along Pique, then we can have Araujo and Todibo as their subs. I'll sell Umtiti and Lenglet right a way.
As of Emerson, he won't be coming. To me, he is the same shit as Junior. Semedo will continue to be the starter and we will have the 18 y.o. Yan Kouto from Coritiba, Brazil, for whom we paid 6 mil. plus add-ons. He will join the team from June 03/20. Also we had already acquired the 21 y.o.Brazilian defensive midfielder Matheus Fernandes who currently plays for Real Valladolid. He will join the team from July 01/20. Maybe not as a starter from the beggining but in the midfield rotation.
In the next couple of years we are not going to compete for any titles in Spain or Europe. When the club de amigos is completely gone, then we can start talking and thinking about trophies, but not now.
Is that how you celebrate Dec. 9 in Tanzania?

Ha,ha! When I first wrote in this forum that Pep has convinced Couto to sign with City, people here accused me of trolling. But I can see that no one is accusing you of trolling when you said it! Very interesting. Is this a double standard or what?
After watching all possible videos of Emerson with his best selected moments, I am 100 % sure that he is just another Junior Firpo. Nothing more. And you are calling him one of the best fullbacks in La Liga? And what kind of money laundering you see in Fernandes case? Who is getting profit from his signing? I am 200 % sure that next season, with Setien as coach and club de amigos still starting all games, Barca wouldn't have any chance to compete for La Liga title, nor for CDR.

Donny van de Beek? thoughts? Should be available for nothing more than 60m, 45m + addons is very reasonable.
We need two additional CMs, box to box + an attacking one. Both Rakitic (20m) and Vidal (15m) should almost cover one of the two.

Donny is a good shout. Playing style he'd fit in good as he's heavily involved in the final third. Ability wise he might not be good enough to be an undisputed starter. But I'm not sure.
A young Vidal should be what we aim for. Hard working with presence in both boxes. Arthur and Frenkie should be able to run the game. I understand that we probably won't afford it, but a ~25 year old box-box + Thiago would complete our midfield.

Good point here. Problem is his physique. Kante is also short and 29 y.o. but he has strong body. This guy has the talent to be box to box midfielder but his body won't grow up much.

Exactly. Puig won't happen. His physique isn't made for highest level of football.
