Messi983 must be Bosnian. Haven't seen this much support for a finished player since BBZ's Rakitic propaganda.

Not as open to signing Wijnaldum now as at the beginning of the season. Will take away playing time from our youngsters. Midfield is where we have the most quality coming up.

Yeah, ever since Ilaix has been getting minutes, now I'm hoping that Wijanldum doesn't join.

Wijnaldum is probably at the right age to sign though in terms of long term squad planning. Not as up for his signing anymore either but Ilaix at 18 fighting for the starting spot against Wijnaldum would probably do his development wonders instead of having little competition in the way.

Wijnaldum is a good option if the demands are not too high (contract length and salary). Not a must-have, imo.

The only realistic thing to do is replace Pjanic with Wijnaldum and that’s it. Two players 30 or over is enough.

Besides Busquets is still starting every game. Absolutely zero chance he’s sold, especially to the MLS.

I'm not. And I've never (dis)liked players based on their nationality. I don't think Pjanic is finished, he never got a fair chance here.

Busi has been done for 3-4 years and now people suddenly believe in him again because he had a few average games, lol.

Pjanic is on a downward spiral since a few years ago. The fact that Busquets is finished doesn't mean Pjanic is any less finished just because he didn't get a chance with us. Busquets at least performs good since the formation change, Pjanic doesn't get the benefit of the doubt.

Strangely enough It's the same situation as Puig, there is someone performing better right now so no reason to try Puig instead of Pedri/Ilaix, but I'm sure you have a different opinion on that one. ;)

Pedri has overperformed Puig basically from day one.

Busi was poor from the start of the season yet Pjanić never got a fair chance to start a few consecutive games ahead of him.

Puig has had barely any more chance than Pjanic to prove his worth. Koeman simply doesn’t rate either of them that much.

I’d argue that both Pedri and Busquets have dropped performances that were worthy of hooking then off at HT which has happened to both Pjanic and Puig. But yeah if you don’t have the trust of your manager it’s very difficult to convince them otherwise. The margin of error is much tighter.

Yeah, and that's my main problem with Koeman. Once you're in his doghouse it's impossible to get out.

I don't really care about Puig because I've never rated him too much and we have a younger and better player in his position (and another one upcoming). But I don't understand why with Busi often being the weakest link of the team for most of the season Koeman didn't give some consistent minutes to Pjanic to prove his worth. Now it's probably too late anyway.

I'd still prefer to send Busi to the MLS and keep Pjanic though. First for financial reasons and second, if Busi stays he'll still be a starter. If Pjanic stays he won't be unless he'll earn that.

Ahahaha Pjanic isn't fit to lace Busquets' boots dawg. Pjanic is finished while Busquets has something world class to offer in a 3 at the back system
