Wijnaldum would only be more deadweight, or hold up a spot for a better player, so I don't want him anyway.
But I am curious, as there is some talk about wages here, what contract do you think he would get?

Wijanldum is WC, and he will be a starter in all those games that require high intensity (like CL knockouts)

Busi will be the one to get moved to the bench, and be rotational option next season.
Frenkie-Wini-Pedri will be starters next season under Koeman, with Illaix, Busi, and maybe Puig rotating them

What a terrible vision of the future.
I will be sure to watch the remaining games this year, if you are right I don't think I will be arsed to watch FC Barcelona next year, if Messi is gone as well.

Why?
Don't you like the football you watch from Barca the last month?
Hopefully it will be more of that and better of that next season

Some of it I liked very much, but I am not over the moon excited. I liked the general play more in the 0-0 game I watched with Barcelona B the other day.
Busquets is the one who brought me most joy, together with Alba, Frenkie as a CB, and Puig in the few minutes he played. And Messi of course.

To remove Busquets, bring Wijnaldum, play Frenkie and Pedri together again, on top of some other changes that will inevitably come - I may as well watch AC Milan.

players are too easily labelled as being "world class" these days.

the guy is not even top 10 or top 15 midfielder in the world and he's suddenly world class.

It's a nice squad option to have.

Next seasons schedule is going to be pretty demanding with two years worth of WC Qualifiers within the space of a year or so. Subs going back to 3 so we will need some depth.

According to Sport:
Garcia 5y contract

Depay and Wijnaldum 3y contracts. Both will accept salaries that don?t cause the club further financial issues.

I'd say if we get Garcia, Depay and Wijnaldum while getting rid of Umtiti, Pjanic and Braithwaite, that's already an upgrade.

WC category probably includes more than 20 players/
Then, that discussion about Winaldum is old, and from what you said about him in the past, I bet you have not watched him at all.

Thankfully Koeman knows better, and he will be great in the Barca shirt next season

Actually if you add to that list: Alaba in, one of Cou/Griez out,
then it might be the perfect transfer window of our recent history

Wijnaldum is a good midfielder but not dining at the WC table in my opinion.

He does good work but his end product has been lacking this year, 2 goals and 0 assists in 29 games. Also averaging less than 1 tackle and 1 interception per game.

I don't care if he's world class. Zlatan, Alexis, Fabregas, Vidal, Rakitic, Dembele, Griezmann, Pjanic were all world class. Some were succesful, and you will maybe say that one or two of them weren't world class, but that's not the point so please don't start to argue about that.

The point is that Barcelona should play a certain way and look for a certain type of players. If they get these two mediocre dutch players that Koeman want, Barcelona will tilt more towards Koemans way of playing, and instead of taking this perfect moment to return to their roots, they will move away from them even more, and maybe take the last years of Busquets away from us.

Because that's not his game.
There are tons of useful articles online that explain what his game is. Read this for instance.

I don't think the way the team plays atm is far from the roots. High possession, pressing, and passing.

Busquets qualities can be used when needed, but his passing ability can be approximated to say the least by Frenkie and Pedri without all the liabilities that come with old Busi
