None of the names make any sense to me. Unless there's serious doubt about Pedri. Gravenberch is the most exciting of the bunch, but makes the least sense. Not with Ilaix and Frenkie.

I agree - although Gravenberch and Frenkie can work together and might start together at the Euros. Would be bad news for Ilaix though, but Gravenberch is easily the better talent IMO.

Would make more sense to get a creative midfielder or a box-to-box midfielder/proper CDM.

Facing a probable two year ban from the Champions League, plus current financial challenges, now is the time to go into more of a rebuild phase. Continue melding in young players, under 25 years old, even if this hurts results for a season or two. For instance, bringing in Emerson and Garcia now, and giving them a lot of playing time right away. Fati, Pedri, Araujo, De Jong, Mingueza, Dest, Dembele, all also what needs to be attempted now. Not all will make it, and their youth will cause some losses in the short term. This re-tooling is the only way Barca can have a chance in our next Champions League season, in 23-24. Almost none of Messi, Greizmann, Busquets, Alba, or Pique will be able to carry the team by then.

First of all we need a coach who has a clear idea and one that we also trust.

I don't think the club prioritize a midfielder at the moment. Not getting Wijnaldum will just mean that Ilaix and Riqui get more minutes. Wrong or right, I think the spending priority first and foremost is on a WC striker, then a CB and LB.

wasn't really the top priority to begin with. fixing defense and attack are more pressing issues.

Definitely need to improve midfield.

Pedri is still young and learning and Busquets cant run and is a liability defensively. After that there is Puig.. and Ilaix who himself is still raw and learning.

Same issues will persist as have had for years if dont address it.

If sign Depay and Fati comes back the attacking side of team is by far strongest area of squad.

If they want to sign Gravenberch then it might be a good idea to do so before the Euros because if he starts for them which might happen if de Boer isnt stubborn enough to keep playing a mediocre De Roon then his price could explode.

Gravenberch is incredibly expensive as it is. Highly rated 19 y/o with Mino as his agent. No way we can afford him. And if we can, that money is probably better spent on de Ligt or Haaland.

We already have court decisions that prevent UEFA from that.
And if UEFA went with it, we will appeal and we are going to win it easily, there are many prior court decisions from other sports that says it is illegal to prevent athletes from performing outside the federation.

I agree - although someone like Fabian Ruiz will probably be more expensive.

Perhaps they go for someone like Mikel Merino although not a big fan.

Weird combination.
From the list Moreno makes most sense

Merino failed at Dortmund and Newcastle but looks decent in slower less physical la liga.

Seems last type of signing Barca need and are getting caught on. Another nice, technical player that has done it in La Liga.

Same reason I dont like him.

Unless that player is exceptional and much better than any alternative I would not sign a player like that. Not like he will be cheap either it as I imagine Sociedad will ask for at least 30-40m.
