Wouldnt be surprised if Barca are looking at current squad with 2/3 young players and thinking it needs more 'experience' as they rate Alba, Busi, Pique etc at the peak of their powers.

That is how far out of touch the club is.

It's why I'm not in the sell FDJ camp, because we will very well not use the money as we should.

We'll blow it all on a replacement, instead of addressing the elephant in the room in the DM spot.

Full backs arr worse for me.

Can fashion a good midfield from FDJ/Busquets/Kessie/Pedri/Gavi/Nico.... that isnt Busi sole DM playing every game and team built to get him on ball.

But fullbacks are atrocious standard and all lack basics. When Alba is bar far clubs best full back that tells its own story.

Full backs in all top teams are crucial more than ever and Barca have a list of shite while other positions have some decent players and those of much higher standard.

4 youngsters we're following according to MD:

1. Martin Georgiev: 16 year old Bulgarian CB is very close to sign for Barca B as already mentioned on previous page.

2. Trilli: 18 yo RB from Deportivo was also linked to us before. Has contract until 2024 and release clause of 5m. He has just returned to trainings after longterm injury and Barca will probably start to negotiate for him after season ends.

3. Cher Ndour: 17 yo Italian midfielder of Senegalese origin. Tall (1,90m) and was part of Benfica's team that won UYCL recently. His contract expires next year. We have good reports on him but doesn't seem likely we'll make a move this summer.

4. Henrique Araujo: another Benfica wonderkid who has scored a hattrick against Salzburg in UYCL final last week. A bit older as he has turned 20 in January and has contract until 2024 and is the least likely amongst the four to be signed. City and Liverpool are also after him.

This guy is probably worth keeping an eye on. Can play RB or CB.

And another Feyenoord player, this time a LB (already linked to United, Ten Hag clearly knows him well).

Barcelona are very attentive to Bernardo Silva of Manchester City. Xavi wants him because he considers it important to have another interior alongside Pedri. It will be a difficult operation. Frenkie de Jong could be used as a bargaining chip. [md]

🚨| If FC Barcelona cannot sign Lewandowski, the alternatives are Alvaro Morata & Joao Felix.

Feyernoord have a good group of decent young players. Watched them last night for Sinisterra (who didn't impress in this game) and thought Reiss Nelson on the other wing had a better game.

Returns to Arsenal in the Summer, contract is up in 2023 and no, not Barca quality (or where we want to be rather) but looks decent for a Villarreal type of side.
