Ugh, not a fan of Foyth.

He just seems like one of those guys that Emery worked his magic enough that he made him look better than he really is.

We're back in for Moleiro. Is the club feeling remorse over choosing Torre last summer?

Tbh, with a 4 man mid, Moleiro would be a very good option. Especially for where Gavi is positioned as he has very good speed and offensive game.

Any team going after Warren Za?re-Emery?

Don't believe PSG will let this kid go. He'll only turn 17 in a few weeks and is already playing for their first team which shows how highly they rate him. Also still under contract till 2025.

If he leaves in near future I'd guess he'd go similar way than lot of PSG graduates before him possibly joining another Ligue 1 team like Rennes or Lille or go to Bundesliga to make a breakthrough there. I'm sure PSG will want to keep him under club control and include a buy-back like they did when letting Xavi Simons go to PSV last summer.

I think Ndicka makes sense for us tbh, moves Kounde to RB more and move Eric out.

Agreed. My point was more that I see him going to another team where he'll be a guaranteed starter rather than coming here. But I would sure take him if possible.

Looks like Xavi wants that left footed CB option which is why we're still linked to Inigo Martinez and probably one of the reasons why Alonso renewed as well.

As much as I love our starting defenders there is obvious and clear downgrade going from RA, JK and AC to likes of Alonso and Eric. Even if not a starter N'Dicka would be a great squad option, especially if we'll continue to use Kounde as RB as you've mentioned then he'd still get a lot of minutes.

One "problem" I have with N'Dicka is he has never really played in a 4-man defense (AFAIK at least) but that shouldn't really be that problematic either the way our system is set up. As you've said in your second post and and as I also wrote about two weeks ago I think Xavi's plan is to have the balance between attacking (overlapping) LB in Balde and more defensive RB in Kounde as starters and then as backups more defending/stay at home LB/LCB in N'Dicka and Roberto/Julian Araujo overlapping on the right. Which also fits to different profiles of RWs we have. Dembele can "do it on his own" so pairing him with a more defensive RB makes sense while OTOH Raphinha would benefit having and overlapping RB so he could cut inside. Sadly we don't have that one right now so probably won't get the most out of him over next month.

Didn't really watch UDLP as much as I'd want but he had a good game against Lugo last weekend. I think he got a knock and was subbed out in 70th minute when they were up 3-0 but don't think it was anything serious so should be available for next game vs Leganes.

From what I've seen he had a good start to the season then had a bit of a wobble but started to play better again in last two months. Has 8 assists already this season with 5 of them coming in last 8 games.

Yeah, I think he could play that Gavi false 9 role but is also versatile and could eventually learn to play as CM too. Pedri was also used similar way that Moleiro is now at Las Palmas.

Clearly inferior talent to Pedri but would still like to get him if possible. Surely won't be able to get him for only 6m and % of future sale like I did in FM though. Not doing too well for me half way through his first season but I'm rotating him with other kids like Ansu and Schjelderup (Vitor Roque ;) plays there occasionally too as Lewy is still by far the best player so can't really bench him) as LW but also use him as a mezzala to rotate with Gavi in midfield and sometimes even on the right to give rest to Raphinha.

Posting this here from the Moleiro thread as well.

https://www.youtube.com/@worldfootballhighlight/videos

I've just found this channel above.

Lots of these "every touch" videos from different players (on a quick glance Moleiro is probably the most featured so whoever is doing these videos must really like him ;)), mostly Man United/EPL and Championship stuff but I've seen a few videos of Marc Casado and some other players so worth going through the list if someone is interested.

Not your usual fancy highlights but I prefer these type of videos as you can better evaluate players when also seeing their bad passes, lost balls etc. Also, whoever this guy is he must put a lot of time into making so many videos over the last two months so deserves more attention imo.

Only watched one so far but will take my time later today to go through the rest as well.

Yeah, if one of our starting CB's get injured it is not good, so getting N'Dicka for free is great.

No way that E.Garcia will stay here this summer, he is 5th option on CB, he is not earning much, he is young he will go back to PL.

Selling him for 10-15mil and getting N'dicka is great. Him or Marinez will come here for sure.

I haven't seen a single rumor about Eric leaving. Maybe that's what some BFers would rather happen, but no evidence that it's club's intention

More on this: https://www.football-espana.net/202...ource=rsn&utm_medium=rsn&utm_campaign=gac0105

Confirms Barca aren't planning to sell Eric

Again, I don't know what our plan is. We recently renewed Alonso as well, who will play mostly as backup LCB

Seems we are amassing free agents because they are 'market opportunities', rather because we need them

We are signing new CB, and already have 4 CB's playing before him.

Xavi and the board is playing it smart, but they know he is gone. No way he wants to stay play 3 minutes every 10 games, there ill be interest in him in summer.

He has showed everyone that he is not player for Barca many times, just watch games against Inter and you will see everything.

If we sign Ndicka I will be pretty excited. We have needed defensive stability for so many years and we finally have it. Might as well continue to re-enforce. (Especially if the player is free). With how many matches these guys play, the more solid defenders the merrier.

Alonso and Eric will be gone within a year leaving Christensen, Araujo (super injury prone), Kounde (our RB whether he likes it or not) and then Ndicka.

I’m loving this new free agent approach. I hope we continue to go after the top free agents each summer. Much less risk than spending loads of money on players of similar ability. Spend the money on young prospects with high potential. Sign proven players on expiring contracts. Easy game.

If we sign Ndicka I'm sure we'll push Eric out of the club. Sport is a garbage paper anyway. Can't remember the last time they were right about something.

With that being said we're not making a final decision on whether to sign him before March anyway so gotta wait and see what happens.

He would be useful to cover at LB and even may allow for Christensen at DM in case of emergency.

More surprised if he signs for Barca to be a back up really when seemingly has a lot of big clubs interested.

Sign Ndicka and sell Alonso and Eric (or loan the latter). Maybe we renewed Alonso just to be able to sell him for some money...

Foyth isnt good enough to be the attacking RB option Barca would need.

Buy him then what? He is on bench?

Or who goes to bench from Kounde, Araujo and Christensen to play him?

DM is the position they need to fill the most and then better options at RB and on RW.
