Great, lets add another 33y old finished player to our wage bill.

Unlike Pjanic he's still class and not finished at all. Performs at a high level in PL and CL. I think he's an upgrade on Gavi and Kessie at CM.

We also have only Alba and Busi left out of the old guard, three old players is really not much. Alba and Busi will most likely leave in 2024. You need experience in the team, especially with so many young players. Lewa is a different case as he is still a superstar and physically fit.

If Barca are going with the four man midfield and Busi is leaving then going to need the numbers.

At 33 it could go either way.. could slow down dramatically as so many have or have a few years still there like Modric.

At moment there would be a huge drop off if FDJ or Pedri were to get injured. There is no one else that can play CM or the DM/AM those two can.

We need like 4 quality players if we want to compete on 3 fronts.

Todays game showed everything.

B.Silva, RB, N'Dicka, Auba and LW.

Make it happen Laporta.

Another player at the end of carreer that we will end up paying his cardiologist bills. I SEE. This is not even a retirement home like MLS this is a hospice for the elderly now.

Gundogan is washed up. There's a steep decline coming up for him. Would be a waste of resources. He has not performed at a high level this season.

I understand the idea of adding him, but sooner or later we gotta start signing players that are in their mid 20s instead entering their prime.

Agree.

But we don't have money, B.Silva would be great option, and Gundogan is just an9ther player coming for free in his decline to enjoy weather and paycheck.

Randall Kuolo Muani can make a good backup striker

You ready for us to pay 50M for a backup striker after we've just spent 50M on Lewandowski? Cause that's what Frankfurt will be asking for. Might as well just sign Thuram then on a free, as he's just as good enough for the backup role, plus unlike Muani, he can also play LW, which is exactly the profile we need.

Yesterday Julian Araujo (RB) was finally signed.. As I heard he will be registered in Barca B but will be also used for first team..

I still don't know if this means will he be able to play this season or will he just train with the B team until the summer and then start playing? I'm guessing the latter, since registration for B team is also finished for this season. Doesn't really matter either way, we still need a proper RB signing, even if Xavi seems intent on keeping and hoarding the crap that is Roberto and Alonso. This guy basically means nothing at this point, basically like Torre. Will only get even a game in the first team IF all other options are injured.

Gladly take Thuram family back to Barcelona.

Breaking

In January 2022, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid reached an agreement for the transfer of Joao Felix for ?70m, that could become a total of ?130m with variables. In the end, he stayed at Atleti because of Bar?a's FFP troubles.
