Would rather spend 20m on Brozo than on Fresneda or Arnau. Think we'd be more fucked by an emergency solution at DM (Frenkie, Parejo, Gundo) rather than at RB (Kounde/Roberto).

I think Fresneda will be cheaper on annual books than Cancelo loan.
15M reported fee, on 5 years contract is 3M per year, would guess salary difference is bigger.
Also, Brozovic will be 3 year contract due to his age, so 20M will be almost 7M per year amortisation

Edit: Fresneda is closer to Barca B level than 1st team level atm, talent and potential is there and could make the leap soon but it isn't there yet.

True but doesn't La Liga want us to 'prove' we can pay in 2 years time? With Cancelo loan he's gone in 1 year, with a signing we'd need to prove our future margin which IIRC was the problem with Gavi.

Inigo, Cancelo potentially on loan, Faye, Gundo, Brozo ( potentially for 23m), Vitor Roque.

63m for those lot is legitimately a 8 or 9 out of 10 transfer window and will be best window for any club in Europe.

If they can get Brozo and Cancelo over the line, the negativity about what next season holds will be a thing of the distant past.

And if they can add a LW not named Carrasco to that, then Barca next season will be a force to reckon with, in Europe as well.

Much faith you have in Xavi.

Angelo Gabriel to Chelsea, we have 48 hours to match but likely we won't.
15M price, great deal for strasbourg.

It's nothing considering he is still just 18.

But he hasn't shown enough over the past year and doubt he makes an impact for Chelsea ever. Chelsea right now are basically stockpiling talents with no project. It's a richman's Brighton approach that probably won't succeed for elite tier sides.

Mind you, if you can finish midtable and get away with it, then more power to their owners- literally.

For 15m, get in early for Rayan who plays the same spot (but will end up a FW) and get out with the deal.

FInal note, Lamine >>> AG.

Honestly I don't quite comprehend this change and whether it will have an impact on our ability to sign and register players. Anybody has any idea?

Yes it does.

All roads lead to Oriol Romeu. The Girona midfielder is chosen by Barcelona to fill the position left by Sergio Busquets. The first option of the sports management to fill the vacancy of the former Barça captain, once the options of Zubimendi from Real Sociedad and Joshua Limmich from Bayern had been ruled out for financial reasons, was Dani Parejo, but the Villarreal player has rejected the proposal.

According to Santi Gimenez of AS.

Maybe I'm tripping but I do not see this as a bad option and think he will surprise quite a few. He knows what he is, what his role is and doesn't try to offer anything more.

Just back it up with Fabricio Diaz before Chelsea/Strasbourg sign him

Lol@the Romeu rumours.. Southampton is his level, no wonder he was sold a decade ago..
This. Why the fuck would we go for someone like him?
I'd rather see Roberto or Christensen in the role. We should be playing double pivot anyway. 433 doesn't suit this squad . Barring Lewa and Dembele the other forwards are mediocre at best.
