Wasnt he a Koeman transfer at Southampton? Bizarrely the guy has a decent track record signing decent players and godawful coaching them.
I forgot he even played for Chelsea.

Dude must have basically got comfortable being a non-factor in England

He is good, for Southampton that is. He is a La Masia product but wasn't good enough so he got sold(some might argue that he was unlucky due to the competition in the senior team).

Turned like an oil tanker back in the day. mind you we played with way more quality and panache a decade back.

Reckon he does alright if it's a season max. Just don't overpay him and get him a bit too comfortable that it's impossible for him to leave.

Got to ask why Xavi would want Bob to renew yet fancies a player like Oriol ahead of him at DMC. Says it all on his level right.

Not really.. To be honest, I'd rather play Sergi Roberto than him.. But he is spanish and was in La Masia so he qualifies for Xavi..

Between Romeu and Bob, it's easily going to be Romeu for the Defensive Midfielder spot. Not my first nor 2nd or 3rd pick for the DM spot but Romeu at least forged a good solid career in the EPL as a DM while Roberto was shoved out wide as an RB as he struggled to establish himself as a Midfielder in the team for a long time.
