Yamal was better than Raphinha last season.
There was no real standout.. Gundogan probably the best across all of it but then what was the competition?
MATS, Araujo, Balde, FDJ, Pedri, Gavi etc all suffering from injuries.
If Lewa is shite then likes of Gundo and Raphinha become the best two by default almost... even then Yamal was better than Raphinha and clearly the preferred player in the position they both play.

A loan would be ideal for everyone tbh.
He will get minutes here, CL experience, Chelsea keep their player, we get a potential temporary solution for our biggest weakness atm

Dont think Casado is rated at club quite as highly as some think.
Had a good US tour and cant fault him for effort but he is yet another small midfielder and dont think techincally he can make up for it.
Hope wrong but dont see him as the player other seem to.

As limited as I think Raphinha is sometimes, 6+9 stats in LaLiga, not bad at all.
Williams 5+11, Vini 15+5 etc
He produced pretty well. Imagine, if he could get more out of himself? He would be amazing.
So even compared to game breakers like Williams and Vini, Raphinha did pretty well, yet Raphinhas work rate is way higher than those guys overall. He is a work horse. (Not that those two are lazy).

As an attacker those numbers are shit for a player that play in barca. 20 goals involvment should be "good season" , 30 + goal involvment world class season.

I absolutely agree but look at those names, Nico probably the hottest young player in football and then Vini the "Bdor" Vini.
They are tiny bit better offensively but with worse overall game. Raphinha is so useful all over the pitch, pressing, defending, runs etc.
Who is better? They are on a very similar level, but Raphinha just lacks game breaking ability what these two guys have.
In other words, I think Raphinha makes a great sub for Barca. Probably optimal one to be honest.
You start the game with Nico and Yamal and then you put in Raphinha Vs their tired defense and it's a nightmare. Perfect.

So he's 5 goal contributions away going from shit to good?
Keep in mind he was injured a few bit last season,very stop and start until the last half.
