Eric should definitely leave and we can get some cash for him from girona.

I don't see anyone buying Christensen too injury prone, he'll leave on a free most likely, but maybe he'll extend.

He's obvious class when fit.

I'm curious how they are weighing the FB position. Valle returning, potential development of Gerard & Fort and targets in the market

Like I say, Deco has a lot of work to do

I am going to say something underwhelming here, but I don't rule the club going for a striker that is far below expectations tbh.

The market for it is competitive, and while we are on the right track, I don't see us being favourite option for many of the big nams. Never mind the timing, with Lewa contract lasting another year, and a likely crowded movement in transfers next summer.

I can see us going for someone like Osimhen, whom many clubs don't want to deal with his agent, or someone like Darwin, who is very good outside of his finishing, but may settle better in Spain than in England.

Isak and Haaland of the worlds are unlikely tbh, Gyökeres might be on the move sooner than our ability, Sesko might be a guy we will be afraid to go for before proving himself more.

Laporta will surely do his best to avoid that, but reality might hit in such case.

Yeah. We can't afford to plug holes last minute like we did with Auba.

We need to be very smart and tactical with this. Phase the old players out smartly.

A cancelo type FB would be ideal, but I can't think of many outside of the man himself.

I think we have 3 FB talent in masia that can make the cut

Landry
Fort
Torrents.

Whatever happens we need competition at FB not named Martin.

It's true, @khaled_a_d but I suspect Laporta remains obsessed with a goal scorer so hopefully we only go big for a player like Nico and reasonable options like Osimhen - I agree we shouldn't go overboard for a forward

Who is this n i c o again? No such player has scored any goals in the CL, unless you mean Nico González, but I doubt he's good enough for Barca.

Cambiaso is a good option for fullback. Just not sure how much would Juve demand, probably a lot. Maybe we can include it in the Araujo deal if it's happening but I doubt that.

58m buyout clause cash + taxes + a high salary for Nico.

With his performances this season I'm going to say no thanks. Never say never, but I don't think they will sign him now.

The more I think about the more Luis Diaz makes sense. If Liverpool want a reasonable fee.

Would be, or at least should be in the prime of his career. Very quick, good 1v1. Not a super goal scorer, but can give you 15-20 G+A. You should be able to get him on a fairly reasonable salary as well compared to likes of Nico and Leao. He works really hard and is similar to Raphinha in that regard with his work rate.

Most importantly unlikely to kick up a fuss I think if he isn't the starter most of the time.

No to Nico, he's having a bad season. Yes to Zhegrova and David. These are some of the best players in Ligue 1 and they make sense financially. Good ages too.

But if we don't move soon, other teams will not hesitate. I pray we stop fucking around chasing players that can't be signed for good fees and we make moves for realistic solid options on the market. Diaz makes sense if we sell Araujo for some 60-70m, no chance otherwise.

Both Zhegrova and David could be signed for less than half the money Diaz would cost.

Stay away from lazy players. We need motivated players with fighting spirit. Even if they don't work here, those can be sold on. Look at Sanchez. Didn't quite work, but we got our money back and did great at Arsenal because he was a jugadorazo.

Yeah, good points.

I am also not satisfied with Nico, even his age and friendship with Barca players is plus for this transfer.

Going for Diaz seems good option, I would like it even more if he was year or two younger.

Somobedy mantioned RW from Lille, I like that option also, we need simmular profile to Yamal, someone who can dribble.

I think we are 100% not buying striker this summer.

Lewa is here, he is on big wages, he will not be sub.

We are forgotting about us needing to replace Araujo. We need CB also, which will not be cheap.
