Should offer him the Pedri model.

There's squad space on the left if he proves himself.

To be fair if the player can't see the benefit of joining Barcelona over Newcastle, then no point pursuing further really. The evidence of our youth intergration is there, you just got to be good enough.

Wouldn't have much minutes here behind Raphinha either especially with Flick's inability to rotate.

And behind Gordon they have Barnes who has injury problems. Can also play on the right where they only have Jacob Murphy after selling Almiron back to MLS. So could see him being in first team rotation but as said more likely will start the season in their U23 or possbily be loaned.

Do you really need Nico's upside right now though? He has performed poorly this season. Would be a high salary + club would have to take out a loan to cash out the buyout + the taxes.

We have a very young team already. It's not like we need to get younger. Could you potentially sign a cheaper winger that's older and in his prime like Diaz and then look for that winger with upside in 2-3 years instead?

I like Nico, but don't see him as the type of prospect that you cannot miss out on.
He has been very, very disappointing this season. You'd hope as he grows and becomes older his finishing would improve and you'd see his game changing. Instead he's been real bad the 4-5 games I've watched him this season and his goal/assit tally is beyond underwhelming.

Hoping he turns it around and starts to display a player that would be worth us spending 58mil and a fat salary on.

I watched Williams since his debut in 2021. The truth is, he is not having a disappointing season, bar some exceptional runs in a few previous games, he is currently playing at his level. A lot of you fell on the hype train and recency factor due the Euro and the CDR match against Xavi's Barca(any nobody turns to a genius when facing the version of Barca coached by Xavi)

Nico needs space and room to excel same area Balde operates now. He is limited on 1v1, crosses are not his strength and positional play is still neither here nor there.

Do Barca need him? Maybe a yes, but for depth/rotation only and nothing more. He is not bringing anything new that is not in the team already. Raphina has the pace and more than that.

What Barca needs Is another version of Yamal on the left, someone who can take players on, with pace, ability to run into empty spaces(Raphina-like) and some good passing/inter positional skills.

For a 60m? My answer is a NO. A player like Bryan Zaragoza will offer you more for a fraction of that money.

Going for Luiz Diaz would not be a bad idea but for his age.

On the flip side Athletic Bilbao is still in the title race so obviously he is doing something right. They are more defensive so naturally it's harder to put up crazy stats.

But as you can see he does have the 2nd most assists in La Liga. And as we have seen with Raphinha with the right coach a players fortunes can change very quickly.

Lol....You are wrong. Inaki Williams has second highest assists, not Nico Williams.

You are thinking of his brother. Nico only has 4 goals and 5 assists this season. Only 1 goal in 19 La Liga games. He's having a stinker of a season, and if you watch him in action it's not just his stats that have been bad.

This is coming from someone that wanted to sign him in the summer since he was young, impressive in league and had a strong Euro overall. I expected a lot more from him. He's young and still an option, but he's not doing much to instill confidence.

I wanted Marmoush and prefer Zaragoza. Never would of imagined City would pay 80mil for him though.

Barcelona must improve their financial 'fair play' to sign a forward, even under LaLiga's 1:1 rule.

Despite recent revenue from VIP seat sales, they still need savings or sales.

Clearly. They are miles off being in positions financially they keep claiming to be.
