Hmmm, apparently Godin's release-clause is "only" 36M (http://www.marca.com/2014/06/27/en/football/spanish_football/1403855992.html), I thought it would have been more, 36M (+ possibly tax) seems feasible for a top-CB like Godin, who's still relatively young for a CB too (28).

Haven't seen any rumours about him tough, he was only linked to Bayern and Chelsea before? I think we want to sign someone a lot younger, in that sense probably 40M makes more sense.
