Yeah, if we want a RB to replace Alves, we need someone who not only has pace (Bellerin), but someone who can dribble, pass and build the game. Alves is pretty good as a playmaker. And I don't know any RB that can do those things.

vidal is no more than a squad player. this is confirmed by his status in the team and current performances. he couldn't displace an ageing alves FFS.
roberto was used as RB, but he's not a natural and i'm not sure he will ever be.

I was talking abt bellerin vs vidal n sergi.
Vidal is a squad player because there's alves and roberto ahead of him. And he's only been playing for 2/3 months
Had alves left last summer as we anticipated things would have been different. He has the ablity to play vs la liga top 6.


And name one RB who is better than sergi n vidal, who can be acquired and would be a perfect replacement
Name one player. I have cancelled bellerin (In case u thoughtof him)

i think vidal will be good replacment for alves, just give him little more time. Dont know what bellerin have and vidal does not, i remember on barca forum almost everyone wanted to see danilo in barca, i think now we are all glad that he end up in real.

Of course we gonna need a new RB when Alves leaves, this summer or the next. Roberto's future is in our midfield, not RB - sure, he can cover our RB if needed, but he shouldn't be one of our two options.

To be fair, Alves has arguably been one of the greatest players the game has ever seen at his position, he is nearly impossible to replace. Bellerín would be a step down, yes, but so would any other player, including Roberto and Vidal.

Roberto. 7
Vidal 6.5
Bellerin 6


Bellerin is the biggest step down of all.
Sergi performs equally well in RB, CM, and DM
And could be a replacement in any of those but at RB alves is leaving soonest and that is the position in which sergi rediscovered himself.



So we dont need a RB, not now, not even in the next 5 years
