I think our RBs are cutting it.
S.Roberto is a great RB
Alves and Vidal are good enough backups

me too, though you have to wonder if Sergi is better utilized in midfield, and the way things have gone with Vidal recently are worrying. And there are good options out there too, obviously Bellerin, and if we bring in Marquinhos (I doubt it but not inconceivable) then that's another one who can potentially play there. I'm definitely not worried about us in that position, short-term or long.

Even if we had a more than decent forward backup Lucho would probably not sub him on for MSN in a game like yesterday, so what's the point? And don't give me the "x or y was tired because to many matches" - 90% of our team looked like they wanted to be somewhere else.

In a games like this he could easily sub in forward for Busquets/Iniesta or maybe even Mascherano over the last 15-20 minutes when we were throwing everything forward.

R. Rodriquez would be too expensive for a LB back up, i would like to see J. Castro from Celta Vigo as our new LB back up.

I guess also Mathieu will stay for one season more at least. Hes a good back up but i would sign a new good CB - Marquinhos, but not sure if he will be too expensive. Also Murillo or Umtiti could be options. Most players who came from french League were good transfers. Marquez, Abidal, Toure.

Well, it was 10 years ago that we last buy from Ligue 1. Market values there have gone up because of PSG and also Monaco being richer but I think we could still find some good players there.

I agree about Jonny Castro. He could cover both LB and RB and has also played as CB in some games. Not very good there from what I've seen but he could probably be our 5th CB option if we need that sometimes.

Fuck all this transfer shit.

I'm bored of all the mercenaries out there.

Too damn bad there are no real talents coming out of La Masia.

What happened to Lee?

Nothing happened to him. He's 18 yo and he's not Messi like talent that he'd be already part of our first team. His time will come.

And we have some real talent coming out of La Masia, they are most just not ready yet.

There is a whole piece on MD about Gameiro, if I understood correctly from google translate Barca are really keen on bringing him and want to reassure him that there will be more rotations next season and he will get plenty of playing time.

Why are you guys hellbent towards buying
50 year olds and 5th choice players.
We dont need those we have verma, douglas , adriano and mathie for that.
If anything we need players higher up the pecking order.
Players who are good enough to bench our players.
Johnny castro
Gameiro

Real have a bench with isco, james, jese, varane
Bayern have a bench with alonso, benatia, bernat, gotze

We aim too low ofte
In the end we get players like mathieu who cant start a big game without fans shitting their pants over a eventual screw ups

We must always buy them when they play for Lyon, Wolfsburg, Nice, Schalke, Benfica or Villarreal, not when they have moved to PSG, City, Man U and Chelsea.

very true...

Pep is lucky to have DeBruyne in City and he will be joined by Gundogan.

Mahmoud Dahoud is on the rise and we should at least consider him.
