we seriously need a starting right back.. thats my biggest concern.. our right side is on life support.. fix that than we can dwell on more issues

While Yaya obviously ain't the answer ,neither is Samper He isn't by any mean ready for Barca 1st team squad and there is very little chance he won't get loaned

I think we will splash for Bellerin and make our anual Arsenal transfer. Dont know if it will be this season though.
First of all we need a back up lb, talented cb, midfield back up and a forward that can have an impact.
I changed my opinion into that mats should be our starting goalie in la liga and cl. Nothing against Bravo but we should rejuvinate our team.
So it will be:
Mats
Alves-pique-mascherao-alba
Rakitic-busi-iniesta
Msn

Bench:
Bravo
Bob
Matthieu
Talented cb: Marquinhos?
Back up lb: rodriguez?
Midfielder: Denis
Rafinha
Arda
Vidal
Forward: dembele?

Look something like this gives us depth and the ability to rotate properly.
Guys like Douglas,Adriano,Vermaelen,Munir,Sandro need to go. Some on loan, some sold.
Samper and Halilovic need to be loaned out as well.
Barta can stay if he wants to but it will be like this season.
If our team ends up looking like this we got all the positions covered with only rb being suspect a bit but I feel we can go to war in three fronts till the end. I just dont know if we can pull this of financially?

I know it's Arsenal again but would Giroud be a bad fit coming off the bench giving us a plan B with his physical presence?

I can see something like this happen but with different names .not sure who though
D.Suarez return seem like sure thing .so we have that .LB and attacker along CB all has been consistently rumored to be priorities too .
I highly doubt we will have money for 3 high profile purchases

Ton of factors there
-Sponsorship deal along Neymar & Busquets renewal.those two would affect the club financial ability .

-Player sold . On paper it seem we can easily get 20M at least from signings while losing some numbers from wage bell .
Bartra 12M buyout seem more than reasonable price and he has fairly high interest from several clubs .Tello has buyout option in Italy for 8M and it seem they want to pay .again very reasonable deal
Those are 20M .we can also get extra cash from sale of Sandro & Vermaelen too but I won't count on it .we might also let go the likes of Douglas,Song&Adriano too of the books .
But those require at least some competent work from Robert .no more loans or loan while paying wage or refusing offers for Adriano .all must be out out of the squad
Also the loan/sell with buy back need to be more smarter . This has to be done for players we feel that they have an actual opportunity to comeback .if not grow some balls and let them walk and get most cash we can from them

-I can't see us signing LB like Rodriguez,too costly with tons of offers.Adrián Marín seem one of the players we are highly interested in

-Marquinhos is out of the market .I am still not sure who we are going after .Mustafi still seem the most realistic

-Dembele won't give Lucho what he wants for a 4th sub who can take minutes from MSN like Pedro did .still not good enough with many holes in his game that would be totally exposed in our system .never mind that ton of clubs are after him too ,Gameiro seem a priority and he is gr8 fit btw

Personally ,I agree that we need 4 bench signings(D.Suarez + 3 others) .but I hope they will be young with the potential to be future starter .

When Rijkaard 1st came to rebuild ,he brought many new players but he also used the likes of VV/Puyol/Oleguer/Xavi/Iniesta .all were young players already in the team who provided a core to build with the new signings
When Pep came ,hs sold Eto & Deco and gave bigger role to Messi,Xavi & Iniesta .replaced Yaya &Henry after with Busquets & Pedro .Pique was 1st rotating with Puyol & Marquez then replaced Marquez in his 2nd season
My point is ,we need we need bench players who will be ready for bigger role in the future and not just a bench players who will be replaced in another couple of years .half of the team are born in 1988&1987 and the other half in 1983&1984 .this is just way too old and we need to think in the future during our signings
So far only MATS/S.Roberto & may be D.Suarez match those criteria . many of players we are linked to are young .but players like Gameiro while being really good are just as old as most of the team . Though I am really not sure who we can sign in attack who can make impact right away and in the future

Yaya's agent is an ass, Yaya's wages are big and he won't like the bench.

Gameiro is the perfect sub for Suarez, but he has a huge pricetag for his age. I'd look at some other old-timers who don't rely on pace... maybe Gomez, who really wouldn't fit in, but who knows...

Buying Ricardo Rodriguez would be like slappin Alba in the face and I doubt the club would do it.
Adrian Marin - haven't seen him, and really don't understand the hype.

Marquinhos, most of us have a hard-on for him, but he's in PSG with a long term contract.
Laporte.. not worth his pricetag.. he might be worth it, but at our current financial state, I wouldn't risk it. Besides, he's City bound.
Mustafi, Umtiti, Bailly and even Kostas Manolas are guys we should be looking at. Maybe add those 3 german youngsters to the list too: Tah, Rüdiger, Süle(big and strong, but slow).

Denis is coming, but we need a player to the Raki position aswell... we have plenty of attacking minded midfielders when Denis comes - Iniesta, Turan, Denis, Rafinha, but not many of those who can be b2b like Raki (Bob the only one)

To add to the forward line, I'd look at Viera from Las Palmas.
