what is with saul thing? did barca become bayern? i know that barca have right to buy saul because of villa transfer, but still, didnt read about saul transfer until when he scored that goal vs bayern. Whats with barca scouting team? look at atletico, they sell arda to barca, then they buy carrassco, we thought that they will miss arda.


barca needs some fresh players, but its not solution to give 100m for pogba or verratti, that is galactico thing.


that guy ariedo braida is useless until now, dybala wanted to go to barca from palermo, but barca did not do a thing about it, now he is in juventus, and if barca wants him, they will need to spend 50+ millions on him. All this massive spending leads to more comercializacion of the club, its just matter of time when the stadion name will be "qatar" for example.

Actually the rumours started some days before that goal.

Oh Mustafi'd be 35+ and upward. He's a key player for them, perfect age, international, and they've already lost Andre Gomes. I'm guessing his price will be around 40 million.

Maybe we should look at Tah, and another younger CB too like St Juste, or Jorge Mere if Sporting get relegated.

Like I said a page back, I'm a bit worried now that we're running out of options for our new CB. Laporte and Hummels gone, Marquinhos will be hard, Mustafi mightn't go or go elsewhere...then who is left? You have to take a shot at guys like Umtiti. At that point we may as well keep Mascherano as starter for another season and gradually work the new guy if he's not a clear starter.

Is it still too early to give a thumbs down to our sporting director and the scouts?

Unless they pull some miracles this summer looks like a very dull one and we will pay the price next season.

1-The transfer market opens in around 59 days or so .so yes it is too early for anything.
2-Robert has yet to make a single signing ,we have been linked with dozens of players as usual .
Let's give the guy a full summer b4 judging him at least (though in a perfect world it should be seen by the end of next season when we see how his signings will work ,but that would be asking too much for people hating on him b4 he even have a chance to sign anyone)

I agree with this. Masche has been one of our best players this season so people mostly seem desperate for a CB because he is 32 (but so is Iniesta) not because people seriously believe players like Laporte is better than Mascherano, which he clearly is not. We would clearly weaken our team substantially if we replace Masche with Laporte or Marquinhos right away for example. Thats why I think it is better to buy cheaper than to splash huge sums of money on a player who will be so expensive Lucho will feel compelled to start him.

Rulli or Rico wouldn't be that bad. Even Leno would be great, but the other options are a little bit uncomfortable for me, 2 of them are getting old and really don't know anything about this Wiedwald guy.

Absolutely none of them are Barca-goalie material. We won't get rid of MATS anyway, but if we did, there really is very little options out there.
