That makes no sense though, since we will have no RB at all and there is ZERO backup for the LB position and ZERO backup for the CB position.

Don't tell me we will be buying one RB, one LB and two CB's.

From that list I could see Vidal,Alves,Mathieu and Arda staying.

Adriano,Bartra,Douglas,Sandro,Verm are likely gone in the summer.

Lucho doesn't trust any of the outfield players beyond the first XI bar Sergi Roberto and Rafinha and maybe Mathieu. You can't play a 60 game season with 15 players.

I remember a few years back the worry was how all these promising young players would get the chances to break through. Now we haven't even got many promising youngsters at all. We've got an ageing first XI and that's it. It's the complacency of thinking everything is fine as long as MSN are there to score every week.

Yeah it's a massive issue.

I want the likes of Vidal to stay but if Lucho has no trust in him and is going to leave him to rot on the bench, what's the point?

Lucho needs to get less influence regarding transfers. His Vidal and Arda deals were clusterf****s.

Yeah, because fuck no-names such as Ter Stegen, Rafinha, Sergi Roberto, Denis Suarez and Halilovic.

We DO definitely need rejuvenation, but this hyperbole is just ridiculous.

No, wait, I'm doing this all wrong... OMG, we have NO scouts, Lucho HATES young players and will NEVER EVER field anyone under 28. Oh and we'll be relegated within a few years and Real Madrid will reign supreme until the end of days! We're dooooooooomed!

It's this ideation that 'everything is okay' no need for that many signings

Our treble seasons were both preceded by massive team overhaul

Exactly. I think a bit of fallout is bound to happen from the ban and a couple of underperforming signings, but on the whole we need to make our 4 signings this summer and we're not in too bad of a way. We can't afford many more dud signings, but I think by next summer we'll be alright.

Team needs about 20 players who fight for their spots and get the minutes spread out amongst them. No need for 13-14 competitive players and 6-8 "if shit gets so fucked we'll play them" players. We already have Barca B from where we can have players who can fill in as emergency options.

If we're intending to get rid of all the deadweight then we need 4 players this summer.

CB, FW, LB.

Denis Suarez is definitely coming back so that's one already.

Hopefully all our three signings above are players who can push for a place in the Starting XI and/or really be a quality option off the bench. Would really help the squad.

If Paco would come I'd have him, without a doubt. Lucas Perez season has flat-lined and only really plays from the right. Wouldn't be keen on him.

Paco Alcacer would be a very interesting option, but he could end up being too expensive.

If he's available for the same fee as the others though........
