I never said that Sevilla is a club whose players never fit Barca. I said that their current style under Emery is nothing like our team, same with Simeone. No, Sevilla did not play this way under former coaches. Is it possible to succeed for us even if they play totally different? Yes, but it will require serious adaptation, not a quick fix, and at 29 Gameiro really hasnt proven much considering he is supposed to be worth 30m euros.

And Vidal has absolutely not done fine.

Modrić was pretty much same player in Dinamo as he is now in Real. Corluka, Lovren, Srna, Kovačić, Mandzukic.. I've seen all those players in Croatian League and can't say they made some leap forward by playing in stronger leagues.

Only Croatian NT starter that got noticeably better is Rakitic but he didn't play in Croatia.

So my experience from watching closely players from my league and then following them in top leagues, tells me that gauging someone's quality based from the strength of the league is often faulty.

They will both stay at their clubs surely.
Adama was never good enough for Barca and we got one gr8 deal for him.Doubt he will ever come back
Deulofeu doesn't look like Barca player for now .been playing like old fashioned RW since he left Barca B in 2013.ended the season on the bench too.
Lot depends on who is the new coach and how he use him and how Deulofeu will develop under him

Apparently we are interested in Mauricio Lemos from Las Palmas. 20 years old CB who can also play as DM.

Don't know how reliable this "Canarias 7" source is but could be worth a try (though I'd still prefer Mere as our developmental CB). From what I've seen a solid player, still raw but with potential. We'd probably need to loan him for a season to get him enough playing time.

Ben Arfa and Deulo as MSN back up and get Pogba. Ideally a young centre back as well.

Midfield was the priority last year and we'd have gone all out for Pogba but for the transfer ban and we might just be in the CL final.

If we don't get a top midfielder then get a top young forward ideally like Dybala or Martial and Messi will have to drop back to create.

How good is Mere?I know many here are fans but Sporting plays more defensive approach tbg which worries me (same point those who dislike Gimenez raise) . Las Palmas has been a team with more attacking approach and better team actually so Lemos if actually good might be better fit.
