Cancelo is a project,he has the tools to be a top 3 RB in the world in a couple of years but right now I would take both Vidal & S.Roberto over him easily.
The worst part about his defense is that in many times it was a lack of motivation or will to do his work/

Our players should press the board into signing the best players around, not these fucking amateurs.

Exactly. We are only getting linked with average players which is really off putting..
So we should have a summer of chasing Thiago Silva around again? We should buy AVAILABLE and REALISTIC players IMO, not "the best players around" (code word for PSG, Juve, Bayern etc players).

Yes, Iniesta, Busi, and Masche should tell the board to sign Pogba, Verratti and Marquinhos to replace them. Not a disgusting by any means. Who cares about la masia anyway?

Well the last fullback we got from Valencia turned out pretty well 
We're not getting a world class RB either way because... well they don't really exist right now (I can count all the ones I can think of on one hand and they all play for top clubs)

Really, the fact that Alves at 32 is still the best RB in the world by far, followed by 32 year old Lahm, says it all.
We'll have to take a punt at someone like Fabinho or Cancelo. Maybe Bellerin but he'd be way more expensive.

Yes, pretty much. Much better value IMO. Bellerin for 50m+ is laughable.

Bellerin might be worth a shot if Masch stays. Otherwise go for a cheaper option like Fabinho or Cancelo because we need the money for the CB spot.

The Lure of Bellerin, is the fact he's young and from La Masia, and he's a starter for one of the best teams in the EPL.
But I'm not really keen on blowing 40+Million on him. Surprised we aren't linked with Fabinho more, I feel like we could get him for Cheap and he's better Defensively than Cancelo.

Alba was excellent in european cup 2012, thats a bit different.
Theres not much available in Rb, thats true. But to buy another okish RB that will take up another spot is just meh.
Douglas, Vidal, and now another..just go for Bellerin or nothing, atleast he has sell on value.
It feels like were building a big squad of mediocre players.
Our midfield has alot of meh players after Iniesta and Busquetes.
Our defence after the starting 4 is alot of mediocre old and injured players that arent even sellable.
Our attack after MSN are nonexistant.
Roberto and Rakitic can stay, the rest we could just aswell sell off.
