What's the point of keeping them if Lucho said he's not counting on them? Just to be on the club's payroll while being on the stands? Just offload them.

I never meant "keep them regardless of Lucho not counting on them". Obviously what I said is wishful thinking, unrelated to Lucho's statements. I can't understand why he'd reject two players that he can have for free and could be very useful to him in this FW/RB situation we have now.

Our starting 11 is next to impossible to improve as we have so many players that are one of the best if not the best in their position. Any starting player that we would have signed would have been a risk and could have done more harm than good. Only RB was something that could be argued to be in a delicate position after the departure of alves but imo we are fine there. What we really needed to address and what has been addresses this summer window is the depth in many key areas as our bench always looked subpar compared to other big teams and we needed better players to rely on during injuries.

Our midfield could be stronger.
Iniesta is the best WHEN hes on top, but hes getting a bit more inconsistant with age.
Rakitic is inconsistant personified.
None of them are creative midfielders, which has hurt us alot since Xavi left forcing Messi down into the midfield to create.
We could use a creative CM.
In other positions we are very strong, except maybe the RB spot, and backup to MSN.

I don't have any good feeling about vietto, if he was our player last season, with that disastrous statistic, we're trying to get rid of him even as a free agent today, and we're going to pay 25 m, for someone with 1 goal, in almost 1000 minutes, in 19 games.

He wouldn't be able to hear anything anyway on the big games with all those people in the Camp Nou. It'd be the 75th minute, Lucho would tell him to warm up and he'd still be on the bench because the Camp Nou is so deafening. Plus those hearing aids will probably be included in his salary and those can get a bit pricy over time.
