Only Iniesta and Busi should be considered as starters.And that's where the problem is.Xavi can contribute to the team as rotation as long as he is ok with that role.The problem is that players like Cesc,Alexis,Pedro,Montoya,Roberto and Bartra haven't for various reasons stepped up their performance to be considered as starters.

There's no need to think about it. You just need to see how Barça sells. Remember Ibra? He was sold for peanuts. As were all players in the recent history. And afellay is not worth that much, after being injured for so long. Same for jds. Tello might go for 10, but afellay or jds won't go for more than 3.

Those other players weren't playing for Barça when they were sold. Song will go for 15, if he's sold. Tello, 10. And afellay 1 or 2 mi. Just wait and see (if they are sold, ofc).
Overall yes I agree cesc ha been the best midfielder this year. But lets be real the team plays better when iniesta is there

Well while Cesc is having a very good season who would you pick as a starter him or Iniesta?
Busi is irreplaceable and a barometer to the team.The same can't be told for Cesc.

The difference between the players you've mentioned and the ones from our team is that the latters have been poor and or injured in the last few months (or even years) and Barça usually only sell deadwood. We can't expect anyone to pay big for players that we want to get rid of.

Is there a reason why we're not interested in Matthias Ginter from SC Freiburg ? Is he defensivley too good for barca ? His passing is on par with pique at the tender age of 19. He is fast and rarley losses a challenge. Won the golden Fritz Walter medal for his age class two times. Was called up as a national player for germany the first time. Maybe we're not interested because Pique would look too bad next too him or because he's too cheap (rated 9M by his club). Let United move for him and than we buy him in 4 years for 40M. David moyes was at his game today after all.
