Seriously we are not winning CL this year. Even Arsenal have a better defence than us.
Isco+CR7+Bale against "cement shoes" Pique and "midget cant defend set pieces" Masch ? La Liga too is very doubtful.
If Barca was a professionally run corporation zubi and rosell would have been fired 100 times over.

Such a shame we are wasting the prime years of Messi with an insane management. It would be a shame if we dont win 2-3 more CL's with him. We may never get such a player again.

Lol-count on Batra. They will count on him when no one else is available and throw him to the lions eg last season against Bayern. If you count on him at least play him. Ditto Montoya. Montoya can play on the left or right and should replace one of Alba or Alves. I am sick of seeing these 2 play together. In CL we will get schooled if we insist on playing these guys together. Imagine Bale against Alba? He will leave the midget for dead-on the ground or in the air. Want to see a real left back? Look at Abidal or Alaba.

Part of this is Pep's fault. He inherited a very balanced squad where we had some height and muscle and then changed it to the midget brigade. Basically whenever a high ball is lobbed into the area everyone (fans included) shits themselves because it almost always results in a goal or close call.

The only way Zubi & Rosell will buy is if Messi threatens to leave.

It isn't that bad, we can still win La Liga and the Champions league but need luck with injuries and/or a new defender in January.

It is frustrating though that our midfield and attack are both arguably the best in the world yet our defence is so weak in comparison. If Madrid had done to us what Bayern did then I think the board would have been forced to sign new defenders so it will be very interesting to see what happens in the next Classico. If Real have an easy win then changes will come just like they did for Real when we gave them a hammering but if we match them or even beat them then we will continue doing what we have been doing which is to ignore the defence for. the short term atleast

Zubi is just a political figure for Rosell. A mere puppet. If we'd like to blame someone, it's Tata and Rosell.
Having said that... I don't think we had that much options in the summer market. Lost opportunities came last summer with Vertonghen and Hummels at expiring contracts.

Well, the window is closed, time to move on for now. Hopefully Tata will analyse the team so that a suitable defender can be bought in January. I'm annoyed we didn't get anyone, but there's no use dwelling in the past.

We may well win the league although that will depend on Real Madrid of course .

As to the Champions League , I don't think we are even close to winning that tbh.

All the other top teams have improved somewhat whilst we could have even gone backwards .

Granted Neymar is amazing but we've lost Thiago just at the time when we'd expect him to start playing more and more with Xavi in decline , we've lost David Villa who seems to have hit form again . Our defence is beyond tragic and Pedro seems to be a starter .
Pedro would get nowhere near the other top teams starting eleven .
