How about this ?

We will have Neymer, Adriano, Bartra, another #9 and a CM for back up and plan B.

I believe Busquets is the person who has the best vision after Xavi in this team. He is the perfect one to fill in as CM. Mascherano will be most effective in DM/defensive screen position.Iniesta and Fabregas can both be in Attacking mid-field position to play their best and Messi will have his free role again. Sanchez will create a lot of problems in the box and our wingbacks will make sure the width of the pitch is used. Its not like Pedro/Neymer/Alexis do a lot from the wing.

Alexis needs 20 shots to score 1 Goal.
Iniesta needs 50 shots to score 1 Goal.
Messi is not interested in football anymore.
Busquets can't shoot or score.
Mascherano can't shoot or score.
Basically, the only dangerous player in that formation is Fabregas.

And if he is our key man who should score Goals, then this is the end.

Exactly.

As predicted, all clubs wants to buy Barca's players for extremely low prices.
People here expect 35 or 40 Millions for him

Juve probably offered 18-20-22 Millions.
Barca probably asked: "Please, can you give at least 25, we can't sell him for that low"
Juve said: "No, 25 is too much for him"

Till the end of the summer we will probably sell him for 18-22 Millions to someone, because we will need money.
And top teams aren't looking for Alexis.
Only some teams, like Juve, would consider playing him in the starting 11, but only if the transfer is in 20M range.

So, we will either sell him for peanuts or we will have another Season with Ney, Alexis, Pedro and granny Messi where first 3 players can't score Goals, and Messi for some reason doesn't bother about competitive football anymore.

If you want Suarez or someone like Falcao you HAVE to sell Messi and that aint happening.

A lot of clubs are interested in Alexis including Liverpool and Arsenal. Minimum 30 million for him or no sale. He can be backup or maybe he will up his game further-especially in CL.

I don't want Suarez, Hazard or any 80-100M signings.

But the fact is that our current attacking line is the weakest in the last 10 Years.
And again, Pep is "guilty" for that.

He made a lots of awesome things for our team, but also he has created a mess and we will now probably suffer for 10 Seasons until we get back to the right track.

Before Pep, our team always had:
-- 3-4-5 awesome attackers/midfielders who could score Goals
-- we had both smaller and taller/physically stronger players

Pep changed that.
-- he created a team full of 170cm tall players
-- it worked for 3-4 Seasons when those smaller players were in their prime, when they were hungry for trophies and when they were running and pressing like crazy
-- today, those smaller players are not in their prime anymore and we don't have any plan B, because we only have 20 small players in our team

-- also, our team doesn't have 3-4-5 lethal players who can score Goals (for example, 2006. we had: 1. Ronaldinho, 2. Eto'o, 3. Larsson, 4. young Messi, 5. Guily, 6. Deco, 7. Van Bommel)
-- all players were shooting and scoring like crazy from all positions, close range finishes, headers, ranged drives, team actions, solo actions, everything
-- the opponents didn't know how to defend, everyone could score Goals from any shot

-- since Pep?
= he has built a team that relies ONLY on Messi
-- he abandoned a system where 3-4-5 attacking players can score and we have built a team where 10 players will pass and keep the ball, then they will eventually pass the ball to Messi, and he will try to score
-- basically, since then, more or less, we have 10 workers on the field, and Messi, who should alone handle everything

How have he strengthen our attack in the last few Seasons?
= we bought Alexis, who is not primarly a scorer, but more like some sort of dribbler and worker
= then, we bought Neymar, for who knows how many Millions, and again, he also isn't a true scorer

Again, our current team, today we have the weakest attacking line/power in the last 10 Seasons.

And it is not only because of less running, pressing, triangles.
These guys are mainly just workers/passers/creators. Not natural scorers.
Again, it worked in 2009 and 2011, and who knows if it will ever work again.
Our small players will never be as good as then. Messi also won't ever be as good and as fast as then.

Also, when fans say: "We don't need a true 9, it will ruin our formation and style"
Lol.

Which style?
We can't score a Goal/win a match in the last 3 Months against ANY opponent.
We created 3 shots on goal against Atletico on the home field where we could have won the title.

Yes, we really shouldn't buy any stronger/different players in defense/midfield/attack.
It will ruin our awesome chemistry.

We are really on a hot streak in the last 2 Seasons.
We have to stick to our smaller players, passing till death and playing with 0 players who can score a Goal.

That's our style :zubi:

Danger Ahead
@BBZ8800

You are right our attack is weakest in many years, although we still managed to score 100 goals this season in Liga.

Well, after Ibra it seems that the board thinks that true 9 won't work anymore at Barca.

There has to be overhaul if we want to add more diversity in our squad, taller, more physical player, but I am afraid it won't happen next season, we might have to wait 2-3 years for that to happen.

A profound lack of leadership on the board level will make reinforcements nevermind a coherent & unified sporting approach unfeasible...It's easy to say Zubi is at fault when we've read plenty that neither him nor Tata were able to acquire the targets they preferred and were ultimately over ruled by this ridiculous board...Easy to say Lucho will have more autonomy but we know that even Pep was overruled by Rosell

And judging from all the conflicting rumours & agendas being played out in the local media, even on the board level there appears to be a lack of unanimity on much of anything...It will make signings nevermind the best ones nearly impossible

The club feels a bit rudderless atm

Sanchez should be replaced by real number 9 and Fabregas is too slow to play winger. With Alves his speed wouldn't be that big problem, but with Montoya RW would be pretty weak offensively. Also you must find a place for Neymar in starting lineup.

If Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas (27) would leave this summer, Barcelona will try to sign Juventus player Paul Pogba (21). [marca]

Barcelona plan to sign a centre forward. Juventus player Fernando Llorente (29) is main option. Could be included in Alexis deal. [sport]

What's up with all the Italian club players, Pogba and Llorente, Benatia, Cuadrado :p

Imagine we go on an Italian shopping spree.
CB: Benatia
RB: De Sciglio
DM: Pogba
AM: Pjanic
FW: Cuadrado
ST: Llorente

In a market in which Neymar costs 60m, Bale costs 100m and David Luiz costs 40m, 30m for Benatia is a steal.
