Have fun watching the prem. It's awful nowadays, was much better viewing in the mid to late 2000s

It can't be that bad. Plus there's a permanent transfer clause in the deal that would be triggered if they #FreeMessi to Old Trafford.

How did you reach that conclusion? Beats headsets suck or something?

They are the "Raheem Sterling" of headphones.....

He doesn't buy them. He gets this stuff for free as per advertising opportunities

Who cares about free when you have so much money. I would spend on classy stuff not overhyped Beats.

He should be rocking some Audeze LCD-XC in a plane.

Finally someone who knows his shit. Money cant buy taste it seems :p

Carrying on the off-topic tangent, I can't help but feel 10 years people would laugh at anyone who suggested paying over 300 quid for a pair of headphones would be the norm these days. Some players are even sponsored to wear them which makes sense, if I were a footballer there's no way I would promote some cheesy brand like "Beats" for free.

No, wait for the closed Sennheiser end of this year. A tad cheaper but it'll be better for sure as it's designed by the HD 800 team. :D

I actually prefer cans from Audeze (and planar magnetics in general--I personally have the HE-400, but I'm trying to upgrade to the HE-500) over dynamic headphones, including Sennheiser. At this stage it's mostly subjective bias. I'm sure the Senns will be a great pair with superb sound, no doubt.

using that logic chelsea are a bigger club than bayern, which is obviously not the case.

I think he just said something like that because many United fans (similar to Real fans) are a little obsessed with these "big club" compliments and especially love that when you use comparatives and superlatives in order to compare them to others. I hear that constantly when they reveal new players, and its also often a topic when you talk with a United fan over other clubs in England or europe. Apparently projects some subjective feeling of Prestige, idk that just floats their boat and most Bayern fans wont mind that much..

I think it is a fact that Manchester United is a bigger club than Bayern, from the perspective of influence, fanbase and revenue etc. Athletically and competitively they have been much worse than Bayern in the recent years, for sure, but that doesn't take away their status as one of the biggest clubs in the world.

Nothing wrong with what Schweinsteiger said there, especially if he was speaking in the context of popularity in the US and around the world. Even Real Madrid, as big and popular as it is, was dwarfed by Manchester United fans last summer when the two played in the US, I remember.

What a dickhead move. I was surprised to hear the same comment made by Kroos, but Schwein? Of all the players, him??? Fuck you.
(Though I can understand that his relationship to Killer-Kalle, Pep and Sammer may not have been the best anymore, but still pretty fucking classless. It's not like Bayern would say "We are lucky to get a better and younger player in Vidal over Schwein")

PS: Beats suck donkey balls and are little more than a marketing joke.
