Sadly, given the circumstances, this will be a match Bayern can't "win".
If they actually do win, everbody will say "it was expected anyways" and "how dare them for actually winning, making the Bundesliga boring again and capitalizing on their rival's weakness". Yeah, how dare us.
And if we actually draw, or god forbid somehow lose, we'll be the fool of all of Germany for a couple of days, since everybody expects us to do good and actually win it decisively.

MOM Dortmund - Bayern: Joachim Low

(Nah, I'm just kidding. But still.)

I know you're joking and all, but others are not in that matter. Those kind of people seem to be biased as usual and overlook the fact how many Bayern players were still on the pitch against England. It's not like only BVB players had to play in that friendly...

Don't think so. Despite the Arsenal defeat, Dortmund remains one of the hardest grounds to play. No one is expected to walk there and effortlessly win, not even Bayern. If they do, kudos, despite Dortmund's injury streak. Personally, I was hoping for a good even game, but with Dortmund's defense I'm afraid it might be more one-sided than expected.

Durm's also injured btw. Though undecided yet, whether he'll make it till Saturday.
Seriously? Well... lost for words. What about boateng?

Yeah, I don't expect a walk in the park either, but you know the German public and how Bayern haters are... ;)

Last I read, he'll make it. But don't expect me to remember where I got that from :D some German sports website. Kicker or spox I think.

the whole defense from last year is injured.. Piszcek, Hummels, Subotic and Schmelzer. + Gündogan and Kehl.

They just have again NOOOO luck :( On saturday vs bayern......

That's not really a surprise. Klopp's entire system relies on outrunning the opponent. Against Arsenal Dortmund ran 10 km (!) more. And they play like this week in week out. That's not sustainable over a longer period.

It's also why their performances fluctuate so much every year. One year they set Bundesliga record points. The next year they trail Bayern by 20 points. One year they go out of the CL group stages. The next year they reach the finals.

In fact it was 25 points ;)

But don't forget that BVB still finished with 66 points. In some years that would have been enough to win the league.

Boa said it himself, it's on the official website ;)

I also agree with you on what you said earlier, that this is now a game we can't "win". Nothing new though, it is to be expected I guess.

Holy crap! Ten years or so ago when he used to play here in Denmark, I remember him being charged for buying stolen goods. It seems he's stepped up his crime-game since then.

It's think it's fair to say you 'won'. I did expect Dortmund to lose because of dat defense, but the game looked much more open than expected, so kudos and well played. Overall you deserved to win, although I think 1-0 or 2-0 or 2-1 would have represented the game more aptly. Congrats.

Having said that, please forgive me if I continue to curse Bayern and the league now. :p

Go ahead and by all means, suckabov. :beer2:

BVB played quite well, especially in the first half, just came up short. I thought their ball handling and finishing today were a little rusty.

The problem with the BVB is that they couldn't keep up with this kind of high speed and pace again for all 90 minutes. It was kind of like the CL final, BVB was in the beast mode for quite some time and then couldn't keep up after the 70th minute, gave the control of the game to Bayern and ended up losing.

Hope BVB does better in the CL. The Buli is all done. No more suspense this year.

Calma, calma
Dreadful finishing and decision making for the final pass. Could've had the game in the bag by the hour mark.
