Getting outclassed and then knocked out like that only for them to play daddy cool in front of 100k people while you are regaining consciousness.

I am rethinking all my life choices at that point.

There are some moments that remind me of the iconic Frazier - Foreman fight. DOWN GOES FRAZIER! DOWN GOES FRAZIER!

Commentator: What a comeback!

and one second later Joshua is x.x

Some people not going to be happy about this one

Tbf even Beterbiev looked slightly surprised or relieved.

Epic boxing .. very drawish. betetbiev threw more shots but the landed ones were equal at least. Judges missed this epic draw that woulda kept both deservedly undefeated.

I thought Bivol did enough to win 115-113 to be honest. Beterbiev did obviously finish strong but felt like Bivol landed the more cleaner punches during the fight. Some times judges just award pressure and a fighter throwing shots whether they land or not.

Both elite fighters though so hopefully we get to see it again.

Didn't score it but felt Bivol won. Maybe if I went back at watched fresher would think different though.

Bivols footwork and movement and shot selection was immense in the first half of the fight.

Naturally when he slowest down Beter had more success and his pressure was suffocating. Great fight.

One thing I will say is that the way Beterbiev shrugs off the shots gives the judges the appearance of no damaging offense from Bivol. That with the constant pressure (mostly ineffective until 11/12 imo) my have been why the judges swung towards the beard.

boxing is extremely boring imo, i always wondered how ppl can follow it 🤔
I am not into it either, but I get the appeal - two gladiators sparring and trying to beat each other. Violence but also sometimes respect as competitors.

In saying that, it might be nostalgia but it seemed a lot better years ago. Guys like Ali, Sugar Ray Robinson, Jake La Motta, Evander Holyfield, Roberto Duran, Mike Tyson and many others. These days the big stars seem to be utter bellends like Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury, who don't compare to the talent of guys in the past imo. As well as most fights being in a soulless place like Saudi Arabia.

I am nowhere near as clued up about boxing as the lads in here though, so the above might be bollocks, who knows.

One of the dumbest posts of all time.

Just like in any other sport, boxers of today would definitely school the old time boxers.
This is especially obvious in the sport of boxing

Yes because of advancements in science and nutrition. I am talking about talent which can be amazing in any era. You're a kid who has been following football 5 minutes, hence your recency bias. You must think Lingard is better than George Best.

I have no idea why I even open your posts, you are a thick cunt. Back on block.

It's so obvious you are digging me out because I added a laughing smiley when the other braindead poster Messigician said you know ball.

Are you seriously telling me Tyson lacks talent compared to Anthony Joshua? And if Tyson had grown up in this era with these advantages in sports science, nutrition and so on he wouldn't be better?

In fact, never mind. You're a double digit IQ wee cunt. Don't reply to me, bellend.
